Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

ChinaPoor noise isolation. I could hear clearly noise outside. Some guests in opposite room(s) were very noisy and seemed to be playing party, with loud music and talk. No cushion on the door frame caused the door closing very loud. Water could flow out from the corner even though I closed the shower door well, which needs to be solved.
Great location, very close to Park Loyal tube station. Very modern design. I stayed at their branch hotel over Westerminter Bridge 15 years ago and was impressed. The staff are friendly and very helpful.

SwedenThe poor Security of the car park. First night two cyclist guys came to the car park and front of my son smashed the window of one the car who was a guest of the Hotel without anyone reacting. My son told the security guy who came out alone and its was too late. We told the guy/receptionist to call the police but he said it will be a long process and he didn’t call the police. I didn’t felt safe anymore around the hotel and I’m not sure if I will to book again at this hotel

United KingdomParking was difficult to find along with the payment on the phone for parking. Expensive to stay there 1 night (£18). Personally I think parking should be free along side hotel as your already paying a lot for the room. They windows in the rooms don’t open so no fresh air circulating around the room.
Location for the hotel was in a good place, things around the hotel like cinema shops, food places. Look of the building is nice. Reception staff were lovely on arrival, they helped us check in. Rooms were spacious and clean. Ac in the rooms and bed was extremely comfy. Service for food was good too.

CroatiaIt's not possible to ventilate the room. You can't open the room window, and can control only room remperature via A/C. Therefore you constantly have a very uncomfortable feeling of stale air in rooms and corridors.

United KingdomThe lighting in the room as mentioned above. The lighting around the hotel whilst feeling very relaxing was a bit too dim in places, I imagine this would have created problems for people that didnt have good eyesight as i struggled in places. We also were a bit unsettled as when we arrived someone's car had just been broken into in the car park, obviously no fault of the hotel but it did make us nervous about leaving the car or leaving anything in it. The staff did seem to deal with the break in straight away though, so did what they could.
The hotel and staff were lovely. One issue we had was not being able to choose exactly which lights we had on in the room as they were preset into 3 settings for the while room. All very nice until we needed light on our side of the room but none on the side where the kids were sleeping. They did still get to sleep though. The general lighting around the hotel was very dimly lit to give a relaxing vibe. The breakfast was lovely and the waiting staff very helpful.

The room was great. We had to pay for breakfast (which we didn't when we booked) but the kids were free and for the price it was incredible value for money. At first I was a little surprised by the location, but we were right on the Picadilly line so it was convenient and quick. So everything was fine.

United KingdomThe plug socket next to the bed didn't work properly, very limited night room service, tried to ring room service, housekeeping and front desk but nobody answered, cleaning service needs to do better in the stayovers. I could see what they " cleaned" and fridge door didn’t close completely, some of my food wasn't good to eat after.
I liked almost everything, including how you can control the lights from the bed.

United KingdomReception was abit frosty and confusing. Asking for Id which I didn't realise was a requirement. My other colleague didn't have Id which was an issue. Luckily he had a bank card in the van. Was told off for booking the cheapest room with 2 beds as there was only one guest staying in that room. Was told there should be an extra Charge as she had to change to room. Still not sure why it had to be changed. We were staying on business and had been working 10 hours prior. A friendly hello and explanation would of been better.
Rooms were lovely and bar staff were very friendly and engaging, Even though they were busy (valentines day) still made a massive effort.
