The first night my room was a little below expectation but my host moved me to my "usual room" on the second night. Great.

The bathroom was small.

It was good. Recommendation: there should be a plug adapter in the room for tourists from outside the UK. I bought such an adapter for 10 pounds from a nearby store. Later, I saw the same type in other stores for 5-6 pounds.

To be frank, I loved the way my room was cleaned and set and it was a very good impression. Clean towels, heated rooms, hallways, hot shower all were top notch. The area was silent so i fell asleep even after a long day. The owner of the place is so sweet that she guided me through every process from check in to check out. A budgeted place for solo or couple travelers.

Property was fine for what I paid.

The kitchen & bathroom was only shared by one other person on the level I was staying on. Kitchen was clean & tidy & had equipment for cooking & eating onsite. The bathroom was modern & the shower was always nice & hot. At the rear of the property is a public park & lake ideal for walks & chilling .Personally I would rather do Homestay than a budget hotel box room .

Really liked this place. My room overlooked a little lake thing. Was very nice. Room was really well prepared. Bathroom was nice and clean. Theres a kitchen which i did make use of. Some toiletries and slippers were left for me. Lady host was really friendly.

A bedroom mat and possibly a TV would certainly make the room more comfortable.

Very clean environment. Bed linen sparkling white and crisply fresh smelling. Bus stop a few yards from the property. Very good value for money.

It's kind of our fault for not locking it up properly, but the location wasn't the best. It was pretty far from the underground station and also from food places etc.

The bed was really nice and comfy. Also, it was all really clean!

The room could benefit from having a larger table/desk area. The table was very small. It would be a benefit to have at least one chair in the room. There is a kitchen area which is fine but I couldn't get the kettle to work. I phoned the same contact number again. She phoned me back but she didn't understand what I was saying. I never saw her to sort the problem. I found a small saucepan and boiled some water for a cup of tea. I bought my own tea bags in the grocers, just across the road. The kitchenware and cutlery are minimal. There is a toaster but no microwave. I phoned again for the WIFI password. It went to the answerphone. I emailed but heard nothing back. There is no tv in the room. This is not such a problem if you can access your phone for the internet. If you stay at the above house, remember to ask for the password as you may not get to see the owner once you have your key. The owner lives on site.

The price for one evening was very reasonable. The bedroom was clean and inviting. The double bed was clean and comfortable. We were allowed access at 14.00hrs, despite access being advertised as 15.00hrs. We telephoned the contact number and asked for earlier access. The owner was still cleaning but said yes and to please wait for 10-15 mins. We waited another 15 mins. before going in. There is a grocers shop just across the road where I bought some food bits and tea bags. Despite the negatives I've pointed out, I feel that the accommodation was very good for a comfortable overnight stay.
