Kept being bullied to make bookings for eating areas. On our last night the room next door had a get together on their balcony. Very busy with external bookings for weddings, business/conference meetings.

We had a garden room with a balcony. The sounds of birdsong in the morning and evening was glorious.

The Breakfast choice is 2nd to none and a very good selection.

The pillows on the bed were hard although the bed itself was comfortable. We believe new pillows have been ordered as this comment has been received by the hotel previously.

Very friendly and helpful staff, especially on Reception. Did not use pool or gym so cannot comment. Refurbishments were taking place. Evening meal was lovely but service a bit slow as we believe there was a party going on in another room. Excellent breakfast with lots of choice (although there was no plain yoghurt on our second morning).

The bathroom was a bit small

This is a good hotel in a great location. The bed was comfy and the room was spotless. We loved the breakfast options and found this Hotel was ideal for exploring the area.

It would have been good to have had another chair in the room rather than a stool, but as we didn't spend long in there, it wasn't really a problem for us.

The staff were very helpful and attentive, especially the receptionist who changed our room as the one we were originally assigned had an interconnecting door which was a no, no, as far as we were concerned due to previous bad experiences in other hotels. Our new room was lovely and cosy (during cold weather) and the bathroom had underfloor heating which was a bonus. The bed was very comfortable and the curtains thick, so ensuring the room was dark for sleeping. Breakfast was good although the dining room was a little cold in the morning and the evening meals were very good too.

I was very dissapointed that we had to pay extra £10 to use the pool and also had to pay for the bath robes on top of that. We have stayed in numerous hotels with spa facilities and never come a cross this before. As we mainly chose this hotel for having a pool we obviously paid. I did not see any mention of this while making the booking. Staff in a bar could have been more friendly, we had supper there couple of times and the young waiter seemed extremely bored and unhelpful.

Visiting Norwich so location exellent, sort drive to the park and ride. Room was very comfortable and warm and although bathroom was small the shower was very good and plenty of places to store your stuff. There was a balcony which would have been nice but unfortunately weather didnt allow us to use it. Receptionist was extremely friedly and helpful on our arrival. Loved the swimming pool and jacuzzi which we used every day.

Hard pillows ! Be nice if spare pillows were softer , then visitor has option.

First hotel I have been to in the UK, where reception staff were smilie, happy and genuinely interested in meeting the visitors. Meals all very good. Room lovely apart from hard pillows !
