Amazing getaway in Cornwall, we loved feeling like you were out in nature but with all the luxury home comforts. The place is very private, with a beautiful field as the backdrop where you can sit back and watch the cows and pheasants and listen to the birds singing. The bed was extremely comfortable, lovely bathroom, hot tub, dome, and pizza oven! The dome is great because even if the weather isn't on your side, you could enjoy some al-fresco dining in there with the log burner on. We met Tim on arrival and he showed us around, letting us know how to work everything which was extremely useful. There were also scones with clotted cream and jam waiting for us, which we loved having for breakfast the next morning (lovely little touch). It's short walk down into Polperro centre, where we enjoyed eating and drinking in the pubs and having a pasty (or two). We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone wanting a relaxing break away in beautiful Cornish fishing village!

The sheppards hut was lovely also the host were excellent. We liked how close it was to polperro a 5 minute walk. We also like the cream tea the host left for us. The hot tub was amazing.

Everything, exceptionally clean well equipped. Very comfy bed. Very private except for the cows looking over the fence at us. Owners Very helpful. Very relaxing, polperro doesn't disappoint.

Good peaceful location just outside the village with a short walk to the village centre. A bit of an uphill climb back from the village but well worth the effort. Great set up. Shepherd Hut very well presented with everything you need for your stay. Hot tub amazing. Enjoyed the outdoor living space. The outdoor pod is perfect for those chilly nights or to enjoy breakfast in the sunshine. Also, the bbq, outdoor kitchen and pizza oven enhanced our stay. The Pizza oven is a must and we were very pleased with our pizzas. Thank you Helen & Tim for being great hosts and also for the lovely scones & clotted cream on our arrival.

Helen and Tim were the perfect hosts. The hut and surroundings are stunning, so relaxing and private. The hut itself was spotless! Everything you could need inside. A small Christmas tree and lights were a lovely festive touch! Excellent location, just a 5 min walk to Polperro. The furnishings inside and out are fabulous. It was so cosy with great attention to detail. Parking is at the bottom of the steps outside the hut. Allowing us to unload our car with ease. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it! 10/10! Everything was excellent, however the bed was slightly uncomfortable and the linen wasn’t as soft we liked, but that’s just a personal preference, nothing worth complaining about as our stay was unique and it was amazing to have privacy under the stars. Carol & Paul

I can't really think of anything that we didn't like. Everything was really nice. From the welcome cupcakes & scones to the decor of the place. Even the parking space was perfect. We were worried as we have a van, but even though it is quite big and bulky there was space for it.

It is such a tranquil and private little place. You could switch off from the daily stress back at home. No neighbours to overlook your property, no noise just really nice. Everything you could possibly need and more is provided (e.g. bathrobes which was a really nice thing to have).

Tim was very helpful. Was there to meet them upon arrival and to show around and how things worked. Constant contact all throughout when necessary and responds very quickly to messages. They are very nice and went above and beyond. The car's battery ended up being flat by the end of the trip and Tim was there to save the day! I briefly mentioned it was a birthday and they had cake there waiting, saying happy birthday, truly amazing. 10/10 would reccoment
