Nothing really - perhaps the lack of parking but not really an issue with the car park across the road.

Location on the edge of Lancaster was great. It was right on a junction so could have been noisy but the window soundproofing was effective and the roads didn’t disturb at all. we stayed for dinner which was good and okay prices. The room was a little tight but beds were comfortable, tea and coffee facilities were good, good shower etc. and all very clean. For us, a really good choice. We tried to book a parking space but were not clear that one had been booked for us - there is very little parking at the hotel but a large public car park across the road. The hotel cancelled our parking space and didn’t charge us so no issues there.

We liked the hotel, it represented good value for money, there wasn’t really anything that we felt we didn’t like.

The room was quiet despite the hotel being on a busy road, the breakfast was very good and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We also had dinner at the hotel, there was plenty of choice on the menu and our dinner was tasty and very good value.

The tasteful blend of old and new and the wonderful bar and dining area. The bedroom was comfortable, modern and despite being on a busy main road, there was no road noise. The staff really couldn’t do enough and breakfast was very good.

No complaints! If you're looking for a place with more facilities like a gym and pool etc then this isn't for you - but this is a pub hotel so those facilities are not to be expected.

I've stayed here a few times over the years and think it's the best hotel in Lancaster. The staff are excellent - Friendly and attentive. The breakfast is great - full range of hotel and cold options prepared to your order. The rooms are clean and comfortable.so if you're looking for somewhere conveniently located that is clean, comfortable and decent value for money, then this is recommended.

Car park has only 4 spaces and we had to park at the closest carpark. Could only stay until 9am so had to leave early.
