The street is hard to find in the dark.

Lovely, plentiful breakfast made in accordance with our wishes. Hosts were very responsive to our requests. Room was very spacious, warm, clean & comfortable.

It was a tad cold in the room when we arrived, but this didn't affect us too much. We had a lovely thick blanket to sleep in. Bear in mind it is a working farm, so be relaxed if you don't get an immediate greeting. They give a number to call if they are on site somewhere!

Accommodation was easy to access with the car, and there was parking space available. Someone arrived to greet us and showed us to our room. They were very friendly and we had a good chat about the restaurant we were going to. The room was beautifully decorated and spacious enough for two people. The shower was hot, and I liked that there were little extras available for us. The breakfast was so delicious! We appreciated the friendliness and effort of the guest house owners.

Maybe a couple more plug sockets as only 4 in the room , one for fridge one for kettle & 1 each for tv & extension lead, would have prefered not to have to unplug one for phone charger / hairdryer.

Check-in was easy, and we were made to feel really welcome upon arrival. Rooms were clean and all amenities were provided. Plus, we were made a freshly cooked breakfast each morning, which we weren't expecting. Overall, the perfect place for us to stay during our trip. Many thanks :)

Penrhosmawr is ideally located for visiting Machynlleth and the surrounding area. Our room was large and comfortable. It even had fresh milk in the fridge. It was lovely to sit in front of the log fire in the shared guest lounge on a cold, wet November evening. A really good cooked breakfast set us up for our day.

TV reception poor while we were there. No soap in bathroom. Only minor points that wouldn't put us off staying again if visiting the area.

Very good B&B for a few nights stay. Large clean room, comfortable bed, good shower, very good cooked breakfast. The location was very quiet although a little tricky to find.

The shower door needs attention to prevent it coming off its track. Some disruption from barking dogs but not over intrusive. A liquid soap dispenser would prove useful.

Breakfast was very good, well prepared and provided in a friendly manner. The location was beautiful and very convenient for Machynlleth. The host and hostess were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and tidy. Views were spectacular

Television didn't work....pixellated and probably an aerial connection problem but forgot to let the host know. Bed rather hard.

Breakfast was excellent and the view from the bedroom was great.

Carys was a fantastic and very friendly host! She provided us with an abundance of superb facilities! The room was very clean and the location was beautiful. Breakfast was also fantastic and very tasty and catered to all our needs!

Our room was spotlessly clean with plenty of tea, coffee and hot chocolate and there were a couple of containers which had other items in case you had forgotten anything (ie tooth brushes, shaving kit) The bathroom contained a lovely walk in shower as well as toiletries. The cooked breakfast set us up well for the day with plenty of tea and toast available. The property is in an excellent position to explore the surrounding area. There is an outside area where you could sit out and watch the world go by should you wish. Carys was an excellent host, very friendly and nothing too much trouble. Would certainly stay there again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in that part of the world
