A few of the kitchen utensils were in rather poor condition, but not so as to be a problem.

The apartment was clean and tidy and very spacious. The kitchen was well furnished with all cooking facilities and necessary utensils. The host was very helpful and responded quickly to all queries and problems. Location was close to shops and public transport. The neighbourhood was quiet.

The heater wasn’t working the first day, after checking with the host then knew we had to restart the boiler in one of the rooms

It was not big, but definitely enough for the 7 of us, which was cosy and different. Everything was furnished and the facilities were complete, we definitely enjoyed our stay

One should be aware that the apartment is on the 4th floor with no lift, which can be hard for elderly people.

Easy access to everywhere with public transport. Grocery shopping in walking distance. Lots of kitchen stuff for cooking. Lots of space inside the apartment.

The washer dryer was rather disappointing. After two hours of use the clothes were still damp. I would rather it not be advertised, so I can factor in a visit to the laundromat instead, rather than find out late evening that it is inefficient.

Perhaps a little tired but nothing that wouldn’t be easily fixed eg… quite old ‘bobbled’ quilt covers and some black mould on bath seals. In the top bedrooms, with the windows open, the noise from the main road was quite loud and it was too warm to close the windows. However it is a city so noise is expected.

Location was convenient for Murrayfield - a little outside the city but regular buses. The property itself was large enough to sleep us all and very comfortable. Good facilities inside and easy to access. The trainline was immediately outside but there wasn’t enough trains going past to be inconvenient and they did not run late into the night. The location was fairly quiet and had a lovely view out the patio doors.

The Jacuzzi is actually just a bath.

Very Clean and Spacious. Good Location to Murrayfield Stadium which we attended for Beyoncé’s concert. Good Location to the town about £16 in and Uber and 15/20 minute drive. Right next to a Lidl and some takeaways along the front.

The place could do with a good clean. I think a family with children had been before us and the dining chair backs and legs were sticky as we're the patio windows to the lounge and a few of the wardrobe doors. The toilet seat in the bathroom was broken as was a seal on the boiler but the owner said he was waiting on parts for those. The jacuzzi bath had seen better days and the nozzles were very yellow and looked unclean so we did not use this The item i need to highlight is this property is on the top floor and there are patio doors in the lounge that open to a false balcony. One door has the lock drilled out so can not be locked! And with coffee tables/ chairs in the same room a child could move these to stand at this rail and watch the trains that pass below. This is very very dangerous. These doors need to have a lock on them so parents will feel secure if they say nip to the bathroom etc. I did bring this to the owners attention.. The beds were very hard which did not suit our party but I understand others may like that, except the one bed on the ground level which appeared to sink in the middle so that guest struggled. Location wise it's a bit out of the centre so too far too walk but there is a bus service nearby. There are no recycling facilities at the property or anywhere nearby so we took empty glass home to recycle, but that is a council problem and not the hosts. The emsuite shower unit is the smallest I have ever used and the bathroom has lots of space so this could be made bigger with a new tray/doors.there is also a train line within feet of this property and some may be disturbed by the noise as they are frequent and operate through the night. Others may like this.

The communal stairway was secure. And it had 4 bedrooms which we needed and extras like an iron and ironing board. The utensils are plentiful and clean in the kitchen too. As was the bedding and towels. It also had a large tv but the signal was quite poor and the screen kept freezing.

Getting the keys - due to traffic it took the hosts an hour to get to us. Perhaps a key safe would work well.

Full flat wasn’t good condition . Walking on the floor was so noisy. Downstairs people was very rude they punched the floor because we are waking and floor make sound . We don’t fell comfortable at all to enjoy our stay . All furniture was very low quality we always terrified use bed and other furniture. We felt it was a trap to deduct our deposit

The apartment wasn't set up to sleep the 11 people it advertised. There wasn't enough cups, cutlery, glasses, plates etc for us. There was a huge leak in the upstairs shower, which caused the water to flood the kitchen underneath. Not something we wanted to sort on the morning of my wedding. The host is denying that they have an issue, even though I have sent them the videos explaining. They were away at the time of our stay and said someone would go and have a look, but no one went to the property to sort the issue as it was still in the same condition when we left that morning. I have also been charged £30 for some makeup on the white towels which were provided for us, even though these would have washed out with a normal wash. We were also charged this even though the condition of the flat wasn't great anyway. Window broken and unable to open, blinds broken so they couldn't be out up or down. Not sure why I was charged for something when the condition was like this. Beds and pillows weren't comfy, barely anyone had a decent night's sleep. While they can't avoid this, the flat is situated directly next to a train track, so if the windows are open you can hear the trains all night and 1st thing in the morning. Also takes the deposit via bank transfer, holding no security to the person who is paying.

There was a leak in the upstairs bathroom that needed to be repaired. Therefore, for two of our four nights we only had one shower to use for nine people which was a significant inconvenience.

The location was okay with an easy direct two mile walk to the downtown area and a grocery store one block away. Car parking was available but extremely tight and with limited spaces. As some have mentioned in other reviews, at times there was no hot water. The host promptly answers inquiries.
