The keys were left in the door, very easy and hassle free! The property itself was STUNNING, a home from home! You can see the love that’s gone into restoring it. We really didn’t want to leave, it’s been in my mind ever since I left and I miss it terribly now! Janice was an angel, she left us the nicest welcome hamper with the tastiest hand made Welsh cakes. If I could move in here tomorrow I would! See you again soon xxx

Some visitors may find the Internet quite slow - we found that multiple devices could not be used simultaneously. As other reviewers have stated the shower over the bath can experience lower pressure/variable temperature. Neither of these were a massive issue for us.

We loved this gorgeous house. Our family of 6 was well catered for with plenty of room in three good sized bedrooms, and two bathrooms. The lounge had a log burner and the kitchen a range, so it was lovely and warm. The house is surrounded by fields and stunning views in every direction, and although you're in the middle of the countryside, you're only a 5 minute drive from shops/fuel etc. Apart from being situated very near to Snowdon, it is also a stone's though from Zipworld (Penrhyn Quarry), local horse riding, and all the beautiful walks/beaches of the north coast. Anglesey is also a short drive. There was so much to do, and we didn't have enough time! A huge bonus was the lovely welcome basket which we enjoyed a great deal. Thanks!

A lovely stunning cottage house nested in front of the Snowdonia. You feel at home as soon as you pass the gate. Janice and her family, the hosts, were absolutely a delight and we have beeen really well pampered! Thank you Janice for letting us rent this beautiful home for a weekend - it was a dream!

Beautiful hamper of delicious food and wine greeted us on arrival, along with a birthday card for my partner - so caring and thoughtful. The cottage was the perfect temperature and so cosy to come back to after blustery walks. It seemed much larger than on the pictures and the en suite was a lovely surprise.

Stunning stunning stunning, I loved everything about this holiday home that I will 1000% be back again very soon with my family. We unfortunately ended up with a baby waking with chicken pox on our second day so we were prevented with our plans to train it up to the summit and be out at family friendly public places, but it didn't matter - this property kept us all happy and it was a great excuse to unwind and relax with the fire burning and lots of Harry Potter movies! Surrounded by cows and countryside, owners nearby who had the log fire burning on our arrival and delivered extra logs and coal throughout our stay, checked on us and provided us with a very thoughtful welcome hamper full of goodies! Tea, coffee, milk & sugar are also provided along with all cleaning essentials to make everything super easy for cooking family meals. Bigger than the images give off too, heating kept the whole place lovely and warm and constant hot water, which was also great. Even a lovely photo album book on the project of renovating this periodical home, which we all enjoyed! Absolutely nothing to fault, already planning on when we can come back!

Could do with a more user-friendly smart TV in the front room and instructions on how to use the fire place (sorry, we are clueless city slickers!). Bathroom water pressure could be slightly better (it's an old house tbf). These are minor feedback, to be clear. The house and our stay was near perfect!!

Location was excellent for driving to nearby places of interest (Snowdon, Llanberis, Bangor, nant ffrancon passage etc). The view from cottage was excellent as it's set within a farm. Cottage was a nice mix of old charm and modern facilities. Great space - both inside and outside the house. Type of place suitable for kids to explore and a budding author like me to return to work. Internet coverage was on point (these things matter!). The hostess, gave us a very nice unexpected little welcome hamper and met us even though we arrived very late in the day. Such a beautiful touch! Sooo many towels, and sheets provided.

Absolutely loved this place and this was our second stay to the house (because we loved our stay the first time so much!). Very reasonable prices, a lovely little hamper, very clean and the cottage is lovely! It's also just 10 minutes from Llanberis by car and easy to get up on the hill. Parking is great and dogs are allowed! Would definitely stay here again!

Nothing to dislike about the property, it has everything it says it does!

The property was fantastic, the house is large and accommodated five people easily. We were really happy with all the facilities, and location and the hosts were extremely helpful.
