Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomRooms felt unfinished, we were informed that they often have bachelor and bachelorette parties, so might be in an attempt to prevent damage. I can imagine the hotel gets very loud on weekends.
Great location, easy access to centre of town and docks via bus, alright walk if you enjoy walking. Very friendly staff, gave us good recommendations for places to visit. Attached bar is great value for money. Building is beautiful and they had recently put up a mural next to it which was cool to see, our room had some very cool windows. Very close to Anfield stadium which was a nice walk, and there were lots of murals to go and find in close proximity.

United KingdomShould be named as a guest house, rather than a hotel. No specific dining room. Lights in the corridor malfunctioned regularly. No towel rail holder or toilet roll holder in bathroom. Weren't allowed in until 3pm, as bar was not open to check in, even though I had emailed about the luggage being held.
Helpful staff. Cosy room. Sockets next to the bed.

United KingdomIt was a minor things but seeing as this is a review, it's worth mentioning. The bath was a spa bath, and turning it on, one of the jet pieces came out, putting some black mouldy stuff in the bath water. One of the plug sockets was loose Could have done with a better clean near the ceiling, cobwebs mainly. Upon entering the room the heating was on but as a windowless room we had to leave the main door open to let some coolness as it was like a sauna inside.
The staff at the hotel were absolutely lovely and helpful in every way. The location for us was perfect Apart from a few minor issues we would gladly come back again

United KingdomThe fact that when I arrived I was informed I would have to pay £150 holding deposit which I won't get back for 7 days. I had no choice but to pay but am now left with no money inmy bank until I get this back. I won't stay here again for this reason. It's excessive and unreasonable and not great that it's just landed on you when you check in.
The price I paid for the room was very reasonable. There is free parking albeit not much space.
