Only 1 seat in the hot tubs had jets working properly. WiFi didn’t work at all within the lodge. The kitchen floor didn’t seem as though it had been cleaned before we arrived our feet were sticking to the floor.

The lodge was lovely, clean and spacious. All reception staff and staff at jj's were helpful and friendly. Go to this site at least 3 times a year perfect location and always have a lovely time.

The promo photos give the impression the lodge has a lake view but it doesn't. The lake is just around the corner which was disappointing as it was one of the main reasons for booking. The jets were only working on one side of the hot tub, and a green tide mark kept appearing on the water line. So that could do with some attention. The general surfaces are clean but it could do with a deep clean to get rid of the cobwebs, etc. Generally fine though and I would consider booking again.

The lodge is lovely and relatively private.. The bedrooms are at opposite ends with the living room and kitchen in the centre which means there is lots of space. The wrap around veranda is huge too, and secure if you're bringing a dog.

Lodge was advertised as a waterside retreat but is no where near the water and has no view of the water at all. Also used as a short cut constantly by site staff so had buggies running past us all day and evening.

Lovely lodge, really quiet. Great space inside and out. Furnished really nice and was very comfortable. On-site restaurant is fantastic, great base for sightseeing, loads to do in the local area.

didn’t like the outdoor seating, wasn’t very comfortable could do with a parasol to block the sun on hot days as it was boiling. could of been a bit cleaner as there was a few cobwebs, dust and marks in living area

Site still being developed didn't have a good outlook no hairdryer in lodge & personally ide put a lamp in living area so you don't have spotlights on all the time it would be cozier,

Loge was lovely spacious dog friendly and the hot tub is one of the best we've been in nice big veranda & secure for dogs nice pub on site

Could improve by adding a light outside for the hot tub. Other things such as descaling the kettle, providing black bin liners to change the bin and the hot tub wasn’t very clean. Check in time is late 4-5pm only.

The position of the hot tub in this lodge, and the view wasn't very nice . Overgrown outlook and building work .

Maybe could have done with some more toilet paper being left in the bathroom rather than just 1 in each bathroom.

The whole place was lovely. Great lodge and it had everything we could have needed for our stay. Lovely views and great location too.

Having to pay £200 damage waiver that wasn't mentioned at time of booking although it was put back into account after a few days. Log cabin on site serving drinks and pizza absolutely rip off price's £4.20 for a j2o avoid.

Nice picturesque surrounding good friendly restaurant on site serving excellent food. Lodge very spacious and good addition of hot tub.

Could not fault the place, location brilliant, lodge spacious modern with everything you will need while you are there. The whole site is really nice and so peaceful making it an ideal place just to be able to chill. The hot tub was fantastic also. I'm sure we will return in the future. Recommended this place to anyone for a relaxing break. Thankyou
