Nothing - everything was great!

An absolutely stunning location! Easy to find and park (although limited parking but we had no issues!), the lodge was so clean, so spacious and very well decorated. The bed was comfortable, there were amenities on arrival which were appreciated and the hosts were lovely! The view out to the pond is lovely also and there is a nice seating area which had the weather been better we probably would have used! Great location to get to Cherry Barn which we did for a wedding.

Wonderful, clean and cosy accommodation. The hosts were lovely, friendly and helpful. Peaceful location, the added bonus with the pond view lodge is the beautiful view to wake up to in the morning. Will definitely stay again. 5-10 minute drive into Rye.

We felt the 2 arm chairs were a bit uncomfortable so feel a very small settee would have been better.

It was very clean and tidy. Nice and quiet. Owners were very friendly. Had all things we needed even a fresh pint of milk to make a cup of tea.

Only tiny flaw was no washing up sponge or kitchen towel but that was easily remedied!

Would have loved a bath but it did not detract from the stay.

VERY comfortable bed, kitchen with all the amenities you would need for a short break. Bathroom was freshly finished and was left some toiletries. Check in was smooth and quick, we were met at the car while parking.

The only thing was sussing out the oven and how to turn on ,but done it in the end ourself, just not used to such a modern one and the owners would if obliged I'm sure . Nothing to complain, really enjoyable visit will go again ,1st place and people.

Location was lovely as next to the pond ,away from the road,nice and quiet. Very impressed with rooms and styles ,its own uniqueness ,very impressed really nice .

we have stayed at this property before the refurb and we were nicely surprised with such a beautiful changes. it added up on space and even a back garden as a bonus. absolutely lovely studio and a tranquil location.

The pond view flat is super cute, organised, comfortable and clean. It has been recently refurbished and there is everything you may need. It is 5 mins drive from Rye. We loved our stay. Thanks John for the treats.

It was just perfect.

Love it ,location was fabulous so comfortable ,bed was so comfortable,pillows so soft as were the towels,room very big ,bathroom fab top class,we had our own secluded garden so pretty,we took our chairs down to the beautiful pond ,full of fish so tranqil, just what we need, and the host were so charming and helpfull,left us goodies for us to enjoy, we said we would love to go back some time soon, to that little gem we found in peasmarsh.

Despite the place being on a main road, it was wonderfully quite. Beautiful gardens and pond right next to our accommodation. The lodge was immaculately clean and tidy, with perfect facilities for our short stay, and undoubtedly for even a long one. We felt very welcomed by the owners, who were happy to give us the grand tour and see to our needs. Even though we hadn't brought a car, it was handy to know that there was a space available for us if we needed. A a lovely stroll to too far from a wedding venue that we had plans for, perfect for great weather and walkers such as myself. We would definitely stay again.
