Everything, from tje staff, food, service, humour and just being made to feell welcome. The hotel has spectacular views, but that asidd talking tp staff and their recommendations and friendliness was just what we needed after difficult times.

The hotel is clean and the staff can not do enough for you. Whenever you saw them they had a smile on their face and could not be more helpful. By two boys loved the pool and would have been in there every minute of the day if I had let them. It was warmer than any outdoor pool I had been in - a great asset to the hotel. The hotel was very clean and your rooms were cleaned with a towel change every day. Fabulous food! And great value for money.

While the property is clean, it’s quite dated and the room had quite a noticeable musty smell. There is hardly any noise insulation, so you can hear everything from the room next door and above. While we had a balcony, it was on the ground floor, we were told that the higher floors with the views are kept for the regulars.

Pool area was really nice and Well kept, the pool was also nice and warm. The staff were lovely and welcoming. The breakfast is a waiter service with a large choice. Hotel is opposite the beach and a bus stop, the buses are every 15 mins and offer a great cheap service. There is a pub down the road which serves good food, but apart from that everything is a short bus ride away.

The hotel itself is not the modern, sterile environment that many have come to expect. For us, this wasn’t a negative - the hotel is homely and welcoming - and very clean!

The view from the room was fantastic. The staff were friendly, none of the “canned friendliness” from a chain hotel - this was genuine customer care and warmth. Breakfast was amazing!

Perfect in every way. Perfect position. Quiet. Fabulous staff. Everything done the old fashioned way. Linen table cloths linen napkins. Doilies, each item served separately. Rooms serviced every day. The staff work so hard and Maria and Tony laugh and smile all the time. Reception efficient and friendly We have stayed in nearly every hotel on the island over 45 years, from the most expensive to the cheapest. This is the best. Family owned and run. Dreamily marvellous views. Tremendous.

Beautiful views from our room, overlooking the beach, very comfortable bed, lovely bar area for drinks in the evening. We only ate breakfast there but a good choice of freshly cooked food - including vegan options. We would have loved to use the pool, but ran out of time.

Staff awful not welcoming or friendly at all. Fire alarm went off during the night and it was shambolic. No protocol at all and didn't even want to call fire services to check why it triggered alarm with strong burning smell. Unbelievable and lots of guests still in rooms sleeping.

The hotel is outdated and needs a refurbishment. Some new mattresses and beds are needed. The showers could also be updated to more modern mixing units so that you don’t have to fight your entire shower from getting scolded by hot water.

The location was amazing. The staff were super friendly and the breakfast in the morning was really good! The hotel was clean and tidy.

We booked 6 days for £766.02 and were given a room on the 3rd floor with no lift. We asked to be moved to another room and it was said to be an additional £480. Menu card without prices, final bill confusing. The dining tables we were assigned were very small, although there were larger ones that were supposed to be reserved for others who didn't come for breakfast. The bathroom ventilation in the room only worked when requested, the kettle had to be on the floor and there was only one socket behind the bed.

Hotel was very dated with furnishing and style - also smelt very musty. Could go with a major over haul. Games room was advertised but has now gone.
