We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The location is great and there is a long stay car park nearby. Staff in the Post Office were very helpful and friendly. The accommodation offered all we needed. A great base for exploring the area. Very good value for money.

We came down to visit with our grand children, property is larger that it looks... right in the middle of town which was great- fantastic location, parking was easier than we thought. Great value for money. Will stay again next time we are in Anwick.

United KingdomOk, to give a balanced review, I have to be honest. The parking in the hotel was not for me at all, it’s very steep and I didn’t feel happy to leave my car there (this is obviously a personal preference and it’s great that at least a space is offered). Instead, I went left out of the hotel car park and parked round the corner on the left hand side where parking permits are not required. We were lucky enough to always get a space there. Just beyond this row is a little driveway through to Roxburgh car park, it’s free and you can park there for 24 hours, no return within 4 hours. We didn’t need to use it and it was often completely full but it is another option should you want one. I was really pleased I didn’t have to park in the street for 2 hours, move the car, return after 18:00, move it again by 08:00 etc. etc. The only other point I’d make is that the wooden steps up to the property get very slippery when wet so be careful.
The apartment is wonderful with a comfortable lounge area and fully equipped kitchen. You cannot fault the location and although the property is on the high street, it’s super quiet and safe because there is a locked door which you enter that leads to the property beyond. Everything is on your doorstep; great shops, some lovely restaurants, the castle, the Alnwick Garden (a must see, my 11 yr old daughter and I loved it! Great value) and easy access for travel to the national park (highly recommend visiting Linhope Spout waterfall, a highlight of our trip), Holy Island, Bamburgh, Druridge…the list goes on!

Fabulous location for everything that we were doing , castle one day , Alnwick gardens and Lilidorei the next day . Great to be able to walk to everything . And the flat was everything we wanted .
