Stairway was dirty. Room good size. Wall beside bed had coffee (I think) all over it. No one about to report this too!

Rooms need refurbishment and a chair instead of two tables ,bed needs new mattress, also only one cup.door was all marked.

We rebooked knowing that this place had bad reviews. But i like to give people a second chance. Well i was disappointed. The hotel was fully booked. Our room 207, was tidy but the the window sill on the inside had bird poo on it. Which we discovered why at 4.20am when we had the window open and heard a noise only to discover a bloody pigeon in out room. The bath room had not been cleaned and under the rim was black. The sink was coming away from the wall and the shower was gross. Cobwebs in the corners of the room, a died dragon fly squashed on the ceiling. The towels wer ok but more like hand towels. Stains on the walls, no hangers in the wardrobe and the kettle needed descaling badly. On line it says that they serve food, no it dosnt. There only seems to be a couple of guys on the desk at certain timee, no visible signs of any house keepers.. This place could be good if they got more staff and spent some money cleaning it up, some out door seating, get the weeds moved. Come on guys

Sex noises coming threw the paper wall and then a group of people creating havoc in the hall way because they locked them selfs out o and check on your electric scooter they were pushing around the hallway it's damaged

No hot water even after running tap a little so didn't try the shower. Dressing table was propped up with loose leg. No spoons to stir drinks, horrible cheap tbags, small cups. Window didn't shut properly. Empty crisp packets and cobwebs down the side of the units.

Ground floor room, room layout was good. Lovely and warm with good size bed, clean linen and good size tv.

No mirror in room to be able to do your hair ,no hairdryer in our room reception said they would try and find one , never heard from them so had to wait for my friend to finish using hers , no remote for TV, our friends in the next room got a new remote from reception but it didn't work ,

When I entered the staff at the office wanted to know so much information about me, like where I worked and then asking questions about my age and other questions that made me feel uncomfortable. Also the window had a break in it were it made the room cold and when I entered the room the tv was missing. There was a smell of weed in one off the doors and there was mold around the toilet area

It was ok for one night but It wouldn’t be best staying there a week.

Unfortunately the hotel has gone down hill since our last vist a few years ago considerably. Am suprised booking .com is advertising this hotel to be honest which has made me question using booking .com in the future.there is clearly no regular cleaner at this hotel also.i found it odd that the outer door was left open all night .which means anyone can come inside the hotel off the street and walk all over the hotel i have never known this before. Made me a little uneasy didnt sleep very well because of this.other couples that came to check in at same time refused to stay at all.they had looked in customer toilets and found them to to be absolutely filthy. And public areas dirty i will say .the chap that checked us in was very polite and welcoming .he gave us the option to look in the room first befor we decided to stay.i found our room had clean bedding so thats why we stayed for the 2 nights but the room did need a really good clean.i did do some cleaning myself with wetwipes as there was visible dust everywhere. Its a shsme some money cant be spent on this hotel a employ a cleaner as its in a good position and could be a good money earner.we will not stop again.
