Location was lovely, Primrose cottage was old, beautifully decorated, comfortable beds. Breakfast was excellent. Our host was friendly and helpful, booked dinner for us on the first night. All in all a lovely quiet place to stay.

Only niggle was for my husband there wasn't a pub within walking distance.

Karen is a superb hostess, greeted us with coffee and cake in a lovely lounge. Breakfast menu is exceptional...full English was lovely and her scrambled eggs were delicious. The cottage is lovely and welcoming and faultless.

Karen is the perfect host – a warm welcome with tea and cake on arrival, a lovely quiet bedroom with comfy bed and everything you could need, including bottled water, biscuits and fresh fruit. Spotlessly clean. Superb breakfast with wide range of cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit and extensive choice of cooked breakfasts. Nothing was too much trouble for Karen, who even bought us coffee in the evenings when we were relaxing in the lounge! Definitely be back again.

Karen was a lovely host, excellent cup of tea & carrot cake on arrival. Our room was beautiful, very comfy bed. Lots of extra little personal touches. Would recommend Primrose Cottage as a perfect place to stay. Wish we could have stayed longer.

There's nothing we can think of.

The owner is a very nice lady who went every extra mile in making us very welcomed and satisfied with our stay. The room was very nice, very lit and spotless. Oh, and very very quiet, which we did appreciate. The breakfast was of "what ever your heart desire" type and there's nothing we could ask for more. The property is a very short drive from the beach. We will definitely come back.

I didn't have an ashtray so felt awkward dumping butt's under the bench. There wasn't any decaff coffee/ tea in the room, it would have been nice since in the morning I would go straight down for a proper cafetiere coffee and didn't find use for the sachets upstairs. I didn't want to be awake all night but would have appreciated a warm cup.

Host was very friendly and made you feel at home. There was a variety of different things for breakfast, I had a hard time choosing from the breakfast menu. The fry up was exclusively tasty, nothing like a Premier Inn Fry up.

This property has two rooms to let and the room with ensuite had already been booked. We had a private bathroom adjacent to our room which was fine but would have preferred the ensuite if we go again

Breakfast was first class with plenty of cold options and we chose the time of breakfast and our hot options the night before which was fine. The portions qwere huge and far too large for my wife to eat.

A beautiful English cottage with a very friendly host. Karen makes you feel at home as soon as you enter. A pot of tea and cookies sitting in the garden. A very comfortable bed and good shower. Breakfast is amazing.

Everything. wonderful host beautiful cottage. Karen was her usual warm friendly self. tea coffee and biscuits awaited us. fabulous clean comfortable rooms. excellent breakfast the best we’ve ever had. didn’t want to leave but please God Karen we will be back again next year.

Walking options are limited as the roads are narrow with no footpaths.

Breakfast was fantastic with a good selection of fresh fruits and cooked selections including full English and Omelettes. The rooms were all very clean and Karen was super helpful - including booking us a table for Sunday dinner at a local pub. Being an old cottage, some doorways were extremely low but all rooms had good ceiling height so this wasn't a problem.

There was nothing not to like.

Exceptionally comfortable cottage and attentive host. Lovely greeting from friendly host who straight away offered me tea that was beautifully presented on a tray and served in very comfy lounge. Great night's sleep in lovely bedroom overlooking cottage garden and fields beyond. I would highly recommend a stay here.
