Perfect location for exploring. Host was very friendly, but unobtrusive. Safe, spacious parking. Breakfast was cooked to perfection. Good shower and nice decor. We really enjoyed our stay.

For us it was as described but at the top end of our expectations, so we liked it all.

From the moment we arrived we were treated in a friendly and welcoming manner. We were offered a choice of available rooms. Both were ideal but we chose one outside the main building with easier access to the car. The room was cosy with an ensuite that was comfortable to use. The breakfast was freshly cooked to order taking our preferences into account, very tasty.

Prince Charlie's Cottage was perfect, nothing not to like. Gretna Green itself has been spoiled by over commercialisation, It's's like a wedding theme park complete with gift shops and tacky souvenirs.

Traditional and very friendly little B&B in the heart of Gretna Green village. Perfect stop over. Short walk to the Blacksmith's Shop (interesting history) and all the associated wedding bling (theme park). Slightly longer walk to Gretna, a superb architect designed garden city built for the workers (mainly women) at HM Gretna munitions factory in 1915. An amazing find and really made our stay.

The location was great. Iv told all my friends about my stay and how happy I was with the accommodation. I don’t usually eat breakfast so I only had cereal and toast. But the menu was great and good variety. I could not have asked for a better landlady. Brilliant.
