Some of the apartment just needs a few touches and lick of paint to raise the standard. As others have commented, needs some curtains in the living room (I had to put my sunglasses on indoors at one point), and a coat rack stand or hangers somewhere. One issue which often happens when there is an apartment/room above you, sounded like a herd of Hippos upstairs at times. Woke us up at 5:30 a.m.

Brilliant location and Daniel is very accommodating and friendly. I can see that a lot of the apartment has been updated and it had everything that we needed, although we would have liked a fridge with a small freezer, instead of the fridge that was there.

It was very warm in the apartment, maybe because the weather seemed to increase in temperature those few days also but the heating always seemed to be on which it didn’t need.

The apartment had everything you needed from a few bits to cook with (salt pepper oil) to having milk on arrival, it makes a huge difference to have things like this. The apartment was also much bigger than expected, the living area on the photos don’t do it justice.

The view from our living room was to die for! Great location, easy walk to the seaside, shops and restaurant. The apartment was clean and nicely decorated. Only thing is the sofa bed was in an inconvient place. Thry could have maybe put a sofa bed on but everytgubg was perfect. Kitchen was well equiped with everything you may need. Definitley would like to visit again.

Pictures on booking. com make property look much fancier than in real life my apartment was true to picturesif not smaller than it looked but front door entrance hall and door to get up to apartment not very inviting

The one side of the bed felt like it had sunk or something similar. It wasn’t terrible but you could feel it in the morning

Sofa bed could be better

Grey location - went to the beach in the morning and only a 5 min walk down. Enough space for 4 people (there was 3 of us). Nice main bedroom and good living space and kitchen.

I'd just list them as recommendations. Hope these will be fixed by spring 1. Flat requires coat hooks 2. Kitchen needs a bar stool 3. TV too high up on wall 4. Radiator in bedroom needs to be bled. Not very efficient 5. WiFi signal poor in the bedroom, zero signal at bed head 6. Dining with sea view as shown in photo which led me to book did not exist. No dining and no seaview in my flat 7. A washing machine would have been a good addition for anyone staying longer than a week.

Cosy flat comes with all cooking amenities well stocked with bowls, plates, cups and pans. Cooking was excellent, with a good sized fridge. Less than 5min walk to the sea shore and 10min up into the high street. Nice ice cream shop 70yards away. Grand Hotel is 3min walk if you want to dine out. Sainsbury's local is a 5min drive away Contact-free check-in was easy, very well described by host Daniel, plus the provided free parking was an excellent bonus. Secure accommodation. I enjoyed my stay here.

The property is in a great location, easy to find and access - parking just outside. The views were exceptional and the property was massive.

The only thing that we felt was missing was a hook or somewhere to hang jackets up, especially after being outside in the rain, but it’s not a negative as such.

Location for the beach and trains into Newcastle was ideal. Felt very homely and had nearly everything we needed
