It is one of the few places that I have visited where everything you could possibly need was provided for you. The cottage was immaculately clean, and the bed was really comfy.

Only down side was the internet connection. And had someone knocked on the door an hour before the time to leave, we didn’t answer as we were in a rush trying to tidy up.

Loved staying there with family, very clean and in a lovely setting. I Was very surprised with all of the things available to use. Towels, extra pillows, cleaning products.

We are a family of four (and had told Booking.com this) but had missed that the cottage had 2 bedrooms but three beds. However there was a mattress under the bed which we were able to make use of. More cutlery would have been useful (only a tiny thing though- the cottage was lovely!)

The back door was a little stiff to close - might be worth giving a heads up about the force required to get the key turned and locked. A few more cupboard staples (eg oil, salt/pepper) would have been great for it being a self catered stay.

Great stay - brilliant clean and cosy cottage in a lovely countryside location. Would absolutely recommend.

Very clean and welcoming, very cosy. In a great location. We have stayed several times before and it's lovely that the owners refresh the decor, such as new cushions in the front room, to keep up the high quality.

There was nothing I didn't like bed bit squeakey and bit of a nuisance going downstairs to bathroom.but it's an old cottage so to be expected certainly wouldn't put me off

Flaking paint on wall at bottom of the stairs was the only issue

So comfy are warm and clean. Handy for the shop and the take away. Vital in a busy working week. Never get time to go to the pub 🤣 Nice eveningening strolls if the weather is good

The only one little negative is we have stayed before and used to get a bottle of wine which was always a nice surprise.

The cottage was very cosy, neat and comfortable. The furnishings were lovely and It was like a 'home from home'. It was very well equipped. I loved the name of the cottage and enjoyed sharing it with, the very well behaved 'Puddleducks'. Thank you so much!

Everything. This cottage is the perfect example to any landlord of how to get it right, on every level. It is spotlessly clean and beautifully fitted out with everything thought through for the guests comfort and convenience. The paintwork is the best we have ever seen in a rental oroperty, and the kitchen and bathroom fittings are to a very high standard. Very comfortable beds and high quality linen. This is a benchmark property and the owners should be very proud of their avhievement. (PS: We have many years experience of renting out a sizeable seafront property on the Isle of Arran, and know first hand how difficult if can be to maintain such high standards. Bravo! )
