Beautiful views, nice secure space for our dog, cosy cabin which warms quickly when the fire is lit. Perfectly peaceful getaway. Incredibly friendly and helpful host.

I wouldn't class this as a negative but I would have loved the addition of electrical outlets (given the circumstance I had low phone charge) but I understand this affects the outdoorsy aesthetic.

I felt really accommodated, especially with the providing of food for my dogs. The facilities were also great, not what I was expecting out of cozy cabin, in fact it made it even cozier!

Very difficult to find, instructions were to look for a sign that didn't exist. Shower didn't drain well. Could do with a general spring clean.

Location lovely, private and calm. Red kites flying above. Log burner easy to use and very cosy. Wonderful that we could take our small dog. Lovely look shepherds hut. Perfect peaceful getaway.

There wasn’t really a view but that didn’t really matter as we arrived just after dark and had to be up and leave early.

The location was good, very tranquil and quiet. The hut had all we needed for a comfortable nights rest. Loved the little wood burner.

A mains water toilet would improve this and clearer signage both from the road and from the path to the farm.

The location was idyllic and the shepherd’s hut was cosy, beautifully clean and furnished well with an outstanding attention to sheep theme details. We’d recommend this accommodation baa none.

There isn't much to say here, everything was as we expected from the listing and reviews. Maybe the ground could be evened out a little for the picnic bench as sitting at an angle felt strange but that's just a personal preference.

This was a beautiful hut, in a lovely location with so much wildlife including tiny froglets and soaring red kites. After days spent in a busy venue in Aberystwyth, coming back to end the day and begin the net one in such a serene location was just the respite we needed.

It is was limited space so struggled to find place for our bags and clothes. The shower was tricky to use as the space was tight so kept hitting it with my back and turning it off, water was also hot/cold and kept leaking out from under the door to the main sleeping area. Lighting at night inside the cabin was very low so we struggled to see things. We arrived late at night so it was tricky to find the cabin once inside the farm and we also didn't know about the signs/torch etc until the morning.

Location was beautiful and peaceful. The cabin was cute and tidy. There were lots of little signs ot help work out how to use the fire, fridge, toilet etc. Candles, torch, matches, logs, lighters, towels, toiletries, cutlery etc and supplies for tea and coffee were spot on. The directions to get there were clear.

I booked the shepherd hut as I wanted a quiet break to spend time reading and reflecting - it was the perfect place to do this. Nice quiet private area to sit outside and relax, the hut was lovely and cozy, the log burner really warms it up fast. My Son (who lives nearby) came over one afternoon for a BBQ when I checked with the host she even brought a new BBQ and charcoal down. Would highly recomend for some time out. having an indoor bathroom was ace

There was nothing that I didn’t like. For me the bed was a little hard but 90% of the visitors either specifically liked the comfortable bed or didn’t mention it so have to concede to majority rules. I don’t remember there being anything stated about electricity but a particular mention about bringing your own portable charger would be great. Having said that I will dream of coming back there on my own for a week and just be peaceful.

I loved loved loved the hut itself, but the setting was truly stunning- no sound except birdsong. You’re there on your own with mountain views and surrounded by greenery. Fabulous find! Oh and the little stove was easy peasy to light and we had to open the windows within an hour 😄😅

Some info about using the small fridge or walks around the hut would be a plus.

Rather isolated hut facing fields with the sound of sheep and birds, small but cleverly set up to be practical and comfortable. A very pleasant and easy experience of "glamping", wood stove, gas cooking and solar lighting, rustic and fun 😊

It was fantastic - nothing to dislike!

The location is perfect for a secluded getaway from it break. It’s what a shepherds hut should be so it isn’t luxurious, but if you are after a shepherds hut it’s great. We loved it and so did our small dog. The host was very friendly and we would return.

bathroom was just a little bit dark but this doesn’t mean I didn’t like it, just had to light candles. some dog poo was not cleared up by previous occupants but difficult to see in the grass would be brilliant if the area was fenced and secure for dogs
