Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomNo heating, stayed from Saturday night till Sunday morning, heating didn’t come on , we asked two different people on reception, one said it was coming on at 7 at night…. It didn’t…. Not once during our stay. Room was cold! . Also no lift in hotel and our room had four sets of stairs, would have benefited a lift.

The view was amazing looking out over the Solent towards the island. The room was very dark with the good curtains closed, great for sleeping.

Comfortable, good value, good location for the festival I was attending. Friendly receptionist. You can buy a voucher for breakfast at the nearly Farm Kitchen cafe which has a good range of choices including vegetarian and vegan. You get a breakfast and hot drink which gives you about £1.50 discount.

Wanted to buy breakfast voucher in the morning but reception not staffed. A better choice of teas in the room would be good. Plastic hangers let down the quality of the room, described as Boutique but it had more of a commercial feel to it

GuernseyLocation is brilliant. Right on Southsea, common and coast for walking, sights, museums, etc, then Palmerston Road right next door for lovely shops, pubs, restaurants. Room was clean and very comfortable, had everything I needed. Was very quiet in the room too, didn't hear any of the other guests. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom a bit tight but completely fine, shower was great. Staff were very friendly and very helpful. Love the taxi button, if you need to travel early very easy to get a taxi.
