Great pre arrival information from Amanda and a wonderful location overlooking the fields. This is ideal for a couple as there's only one bedroom but the sofa bed works too. We loved the attention to detail.

Great quiet location and a good night’s sleep on a comfortable bed. Amanda has made the cottage very warm and welcoming with lots of personal touches along with a lovely welcome pack. Wood burning stove was lovely to sit in front of and relax. Kitchen is well equipped. We loved the garden which attracts lots of birds and even a squirrel. Just a pity that we couldn’t have stayed longer but won’t hesitate to return and highly recommend. Parking spot was brilliant and a very good size.

We had a lovely stay at this cottage over the weekend, it had everything we needed and was very cosy and welcoming!

The cottage really is cosy. We spent two days here in January when the temperature outside was below freezing. We took a wonderful, if cold, walk along Monarch’s Way into Stratford and were so happy to come back to the comfort of the cottage, especially the wood burner. Though we didn’t get to meet Amanda in person, we were grateful for her kindness on booking, allowing us to check in a little early, and her obvious attention to detail inside her beautiful little cottage. Thank you so much Amanda. We will definitely be back.

We stayed overnight fir the Xmas Market. Beautiful cottage with everything you require. We got a taxi into town £15 which was great as it was £10 to park Highly recommend the cottage

How comfortable it was, how welcoming Amanda is to her cottage, location was good, well stocked wood supply to have a nice wood fire inside, clean, lots of helpful info, nice garden area, good kitchen, warm and cosy. Couldn't ask anything more from the host and the house, spot on.

Listen, if I could find fault here I could in a bouquet of roses. I loved everything about it.

I've only lived in the UK for three years, and I swear the Home Office should put a picture of this little cottage on a passport page or tin of chocolates or something, for it was cottages like these that made me fall in love with England all those *years ago. It's perfect. It's just the right size, quiet, and cosy. All the little touches add to its authenticity. If you're looking for quintessential 'British' in the heart of Shakespeare Country, then you've found it. There's even bunting and teapots y'all. Dutch doors open out to a quaint little garden next to a field full of fat little robins who will come and stare at you and wonder what kind of messed up, hairless, featherless animal you are while you enjoy a cuppa or just a quiet sit. At night, the garden is filled with so much magic. I've found that with S-u-A in general. I'm not sure if it's the wonder and expectation of visitors to the area for the past 400 years, but something certainly stirs the air at night. You'll find yourself lost in the stillness as your eyes gently float from the many twinkling lights as a zephyr caresses your cheek. But I digress. And the beds were super comfy. I've never slept in a place devoid of light, which made for a sound sleep. My husband and I have twins, I'm a postgrad...my nights usually feel like a fever dream of ruminating over research questions to a Cocomellon soundtrack. For that one night, I knew what it felt like to be God's favourite. In short, if you're looking for a British experience, congratulations, you've found it. This lovely, little cottage reminds me that I'm living my dream. And Amanda is a legend! She's got excellent communication and is kind, generous and funny. If this cottage is available, book it! *OK, it was decades ago. It took me two to be precise but I got here anyway :)

This little cottage gave us everything we needed for our three day stay and a little bit more! The owner's communication was excellent right from the moment of booking to upon arrival and leaving. The cottage is super clean and, being the one who ended up on the sofabed, I can say I was pleasantly surprised at how comfy it was - the memory foam topper was a fab touch. The bed was also very comfy, as I lay on it for a few hours to get my daughter to go to sleep! Gorgeous little garden to sit in and lovely views. Great facilities all round - the shower was great and I always expect showers to be naff when booking somewhere! Handy to have an iron etc to press outfits before heading off to a wedding. A real treat to stay there, everything was great quality and we would love to return one day. Thanks so much! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
