The room was on the fourth floor and no lift from third floor. A very long all to the room. There was a bath in the room but this was out of order, the shower controls had no instructions and took 10 minutes to get a decent (not burning) temperature,

Breakfast was lovely. Location of hotel perfect. The staff all very helpful. The bed was very comfortable.

The sink didn’t drain, we reported this after our stay so hopefully it’s been sorted. The room was a bit run down. Stain makes on ceiling from past leaks, we found the bathroom floor to have hairs on in the corners. Room was a bit dusty and we couldn’t open the windows.

The room I had was quite small. The original windows are a great feature but also in need of attention. They would benefit from being secured to stop them rattling (it was a very windy weekend), perhaps also some secondary glazing. I also felt extremely uncomfortable in the shower and on the toilet, as the bathroom window looked straight out onto the street with only a thin net curtain. I may have missed something and they could be one way glass, but it didn't look or feel it to me! You really are sat right next to the floor to ceiling window when you're on the loo?

Excellent location to the station and taxis, which was good as a solo traveller. Staff in the bar were really friendly and kept me company whilst having a drink in the bar which was lovely. Food was being served and looked good. Lovely old building.

Floor was not clean in the room. Staff didn’t inform me of a £50 deposit before coming to stay despite booking weeks in advance.

Good area, nice rooms, bed was comfortable and breakfast was good, loved the omelette choice.

£70 pounds for a tiny room.. I have stayed at the hotel before and had bigger rooms for the same money.. I could barely even move in the bathroom it was so small... That room should not have cost £70

room was clean and bed was good had good nights sleep. i had to pay £50 deposit like they asked got told it be reimbursed with in 10 to 14 days i left the room clean it now 14 days since i stayed there still no deposit back. i will not stay here again.

The above process could have been avoided - when only staying 2 nights it was frustrating to have 2 rooms and the need to change

The first room was supposed to be double but was very small for two people. Tiny space

The staff were amazing !!!! The location, close to all the amenities. Once we had a different room, the room was much more spacious and clean. Breakfast just great value for the money

I think the rooms bar the bathrooms definitely need an upgrade. I payed for an executive room and I don’t think it was worth the money. Room felt very old, parts of walls were falling off, water leaking in through the window, paint flaking off, window latch was broken, stains on floor, creaking floorboards and kettle felt very old too.

I went to eat where everyone were eating but I remember one staff member told me to eat out where they were serving food, saying that there was not enough chairs, not knowing that I have seen already some empty seats. That made me feel very uncomfortable and somehow discriminated. Anyway, thank you very much for having me stay in your hotel.

I loved the room location as I like a bit of a view. The bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was just wow!!👌 so tasty tasty! They deserve a trophy🏆 for that 👏 overall I had a wonderful stay
