Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomRoom was a tad noisy (sound transfer from other rooms). However, when you stay there on the night of BST this is to be expected and did not detract from our stay. The blinds also let in a fair bit of light but we always travel with sleep masks as this isn't an issue exclusive to this hotel by any means.
Bed was comfy and room was clean and tidy. The location of the venue when going to events in Hyde park was superb - the event finished and we were tucked up in bed by 11pm. The staff were friendly and helpful and greeted us every time we entered the lobby. The hotel breakfast is provided in the Bella Italia linked to it and, although a little busy, was good,

United KingdomOffered complimentary breakfast at check in which was a nice touch. The hotel also changed the bedding from down to microfibre as I'm allergic. Good location for Hyde Park, not a bad size room or price for central London. Also had water and soft drinks provided free of charge in the room. The bath sheets were huge which was lovely.

United StatesOur room was quite cozy, even by London standards. The bed took up almost all the available space. The only place to sit comfortably was on the bed.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Included breakfast at adjacent restaurant was good. Hotel is located on a quiet square, but close to Underground stations. Room was clean, quiet, and comfy. Air conditioning was a nice feature, especially since London was having a heat wave while we were visiting.

Staff couldn't have been more friendly or accommodating and found me a room prior to check in time. Location is perfect. Very close to Paddington and also to the parks. The bed was super comfy and the fruit in the room was a nice touch

CanadaThe thing I don’t like is that the description on the booking.com website does not match the actual fact of the room. I wasn’t expecting the actual size of the room would be so small. I was carefully choosing the size of room I wanted and was willing to pay more money to get something bigger. The room I stayed was actually an upgrade as advertised on the website but still gave me the feeling of the size of something found in Tokyo Japan. I have been using Bookimg.com for years and this is the first time I’m disappointed

United KingdomIt was disappointing on arrival to discover the rooms had not been upgraded as the offer said and the rooms were not on the same floor. It was awkward having to ask and explain in reception that we should have had an upgrade. I had emailed the hotel prior to us coming to London to confirm this, yet still it had not been arranged.
I booked three rooms in the hotel on Booking.com. and there was an offer of a free room upgrade. I emailed the hotel to confirm that the rooms were upgraded which they confirmed, and I also requested if they could be together if possible. On arrival the rooms were not upgraded and were not together. It was very disappointing to have to explain this in the reception area, with my family waiting. We had previously stayed here and knew our rooms allocated were not upgraded. However the gentleman on reception was very helpful and understanding, and was aware that the upgrade had not been done. However, after some time, he managed to allocate us three upgraded rooms which we were happy with. He also was apologetic and gave us complimentary vouchers for breakfast the following morning.
