I was shown a room that had rotting wood on the inside of the kitchen door. I know I paid for a standard double but the rooms don’t match the standard of the reception amd everywhere else . Just being honest

Bathroom wasn't quite up to expectation. Toilet roll holder was on back to front so loo roll kept on falling on the floor every time you touched it. Mixer tap was very stiff and you ad to be careful that you didn't go from off to full flow and get soaked. Room 47. No view from window; just large shrubs close by.

Location good for M58 access. Hotel was smart and Reception friendly.

Sat Nav directions could be better. The post code leads you into the industrial estate and the hotel is very well screened by trees etc. Not sure how you coul inprove this. Perhaps a bigger sign at the gate would help.

Overall the rooms and meals were superb, Staff could not have been mor helpfull. Well Done. We will be back in the future.

When people were in the bar area prior to us going to eat, our room which was directly above this area was noisy... Although I also thought I booked for 2 rooms 2 people in each, it turned out only 1 person was booked per room and we had to pay extra

The building and bedroom suite we had, had character We are in the bar and overall the food was good but the Cock and bull I had, had very little steak and too many peppercorns in the sauce, but the flavours were nice

The bathroom had 2 light out which made it very gloomy, I did report it to the reception, who sent someone round with some bulbs, but he said he can’t fit them as the surround’s won’t come. he said another man would come round to fix, but nobody came, so gloomy showers, not happy with this.

It was perfect for us because it was near the location of a family wedding.

Lounge / bar area was comfortable and spacious. The staff were great and very helpful. The food was very good.

Breakfast adequate but not particularly fresh. Toilet continued running nonstop and shower temperature stuck on very hot - dangerous and unusable. Moved to another room which was OK.

We had supper and breakfast which were both very nice. The staff were very polite and very helpful. Our room was clean well stocked with coffee tea and lots of biscuits. The beds were comfortable and the bed linen was very clean

The mess left by the wedding party in the bar. Peanuts being thrown between some of the guests and sandwiches being trodden into the carpet is not acceptable. If we had arrived at the hotel after the wedding party had been in the bar we would have not stayed. On our return later the mess had been cleared.

The woman working behind the bar clearly hated her job. Carpark is ridiculous.

Staff on reception were lovely, room was nice but not worth the money. Overall nice hotel and the room which held the wedding we attended was gorgeous.

We purchased 5 rooms, 4 were excellent, 1 - ours was in the old part of the building and smaller and slightly more shabby than the others. Great stay though nonetheless.
