Original coach house assigned room was a twin rather than double, it smelled damp. Staff were only too pleased to change the room to one in the main building.

Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast team including the kitchen staff were great.

The room itself wasn't very clean. A lot of dust on the bedside tables, crumbs on the chair, the cups had tea stains on the outside of them and the bathroom sink had toothpaste around it. Also the hand wash was empty. Other than this, the stay was great.

The room in the coach house was nice with a great view! Comfortable to sleep in. Tea/coffee facilities. Friendly staff at reception and in the lounge. The breakfast was nice with a good selection of food/drink. The hotel is in a great location.

Some staff if the bar were a little rude, could have been because it was bank holiday but still wasn’t busy. There was teaspoons in the room for the tea and coffee making facilities. The rooms Need updating or modernising.

The shower room, sink and toilet in my room were very small. The room was not noise proof, so I could hear people walking past all day and heard tv sounds from the next room.

It’s located right at the beginning of Llanberis path. The lake view from the hotel, especially from the breakfast room, is amazing.

Breakfast choices were fantastic and delicious with a good selection of cold and hot buffet items 😘. We initially stayed for 2 nights in the coach house. Staff were accommodating when we added on an extra night's stay in the coach house after becoming freezing and exhausted (but feeling a sense of achievement) from summiting Yr Wyddfa in the snow 😁. Just be aware it is a bit of a walk from the reception area to the coach house, which is connected to the main hotel (coach house area does not have a lift if you are carrying luggage). Location of the hotel itself is great and only a few minutes walk to the start of the Llanberis path 👍🏻.

The property is a bit tired and in need of refurbishment but having said that for the price I think it is reasonable.

The walls are a bit thin on the first floor. We could hear the guy in the next room talking at 02.30 and then snoring.

Friendly staff at reception. The food at the bar was amazing!! Not one bad meal. Breakfast was awesome too.

Brilliant location and staff very friendly. Breakfast was excellent too. It's a fairly basic hotel, a bit tired looking in places, but for the price it's a bargain. And the location, staff and Breakfast more than make up for that. Definitely will come back.

Uncomfortable beds even in the upgraded room, located at the top of the stairs so you hear the door, everyone and everything throughout the night. Very average breakfast that took a while to queue for. Staff very unbothered about providing a decent service.
