Thoroughly enjoyed the continental breakfast served by host James. Bedroom with standard size double bed was comfortable and very clean. En suite shower room very clean and well equipped with excellent shower. Supper taken at The Bell in the village was excellent and so too the Amalfi in Nailsworth, both on hosts' recommended list.

There was no fresh/cooked breakfast (so no English breakfast which would be fitting) as they were providing only some croissants, and toast if you would ask. No eggs or cheese or something savoury just sweets. The French press coffee was OK but no other choice but tea. In our minds, breakfast in the UK includes English breakfast or something different to croissants and jams. There was some little yogurt though and it was overall OK I guess.

Very good room, it was modern and generally well made inside with nice furniture and fittings. It was on the smaller size and had no wardrobe so we left our clothes in the suitcases.

Nothing of note: lacking a slightly longer kettle cord; a TV with a proper channel guide you can make sense of; a shelf in the shower; an egg or two at breakfast.

Nice location in the heart of the Cotswolds. Clean and comfortable room with the usual tea and coffee extras. Friendly hosts. Quiet. Spacious car park off road. Thermostatically controlled heating. Nice shower with good pressure. Dog-friendly room with two bowls and snacks for our boy (reasonable one-off cash fee, now pretty much standard). Thriving Indian restaurant/local pub down the road. Out and about, Coaley Peak and Painswick Beacon (recommended by our host) offer truly fabulous views, as does Butterow Hill overlooking Stroud, all short distance from easy parking.

Great sized room, perfect when we had the dog with us too. Owners were so accommodating, room very comfortable and a delicious breakfast, catering to vegans too! Plenty of parking. Beautiful walks nearby too.

Not the quietest environment - close to road and could hear other rooms

Bed was very comfortable but was a little bit small. No cooked breakfast options.

Jo was super friendly and helpful allowing us to have an early check-in as we had a wedding that day. She also helped with nearly 20 taxi recommendations. The room was clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. Nice continental breakfast in the morning. Very quiet location.

The room was lovely. Great to have our own entrance and it had everything we needed in it. The location was only a short drive from Tetbury where we were visiting friends. The host was very friendly and really accommodating about our dietary requirements and breakfast.
