Room size was small compared to the cost of room. However, facility wise the room was excellent

Excellent location, royal feeling. Ideal for family who went to enjoy the serene beauty of nature, calm and quiet

The staff was super friendly and going out of their way to make end meet at any time. The house is a wee bit old fashioned but in a warm and cosy way. The restaurant at the house was not open so I had to dine at the nearby distillery twice. The food there is decent but the service is not a la carte. You have to book the menu for £55. Also, be aware that you are staying on a very small island. There is no other option for dining or breakfast. I do enjoy my stay very much. I hiked to the top of Dun Cana and back and attended the distillery tour. Raasay House and the island is definitely worth a visit!!

Would have liked bigger menu. Also highlight of a previous stay we liked basic food with ample helpings, this time some helpings were small. Little food on huge plate.

Location, friendliness of staff, library, food.

Some of the paired wines were rather pricey.

We were fortunate to be upgraded to a room which overlooked (from a distance) the mountains of Skye and the ferry port. Beautiful view when the sun shone but the weather was variable and at times quite wet. Interesting island with limited road access but enjoyed our expedition north and drove the length of Callum's Road. Find out about it and experience the trip for yourself, but your car will require good ground clearance. Food very good both in the Hotel and the Distillery but not inexpensive.

Really minor fault: in the room we stayed in there was no full length mirror; the only mirror to use to get ready was in the bathroom which wasn’t ideal when there were two of us - especially if one was trying to get ready and the other using the bathroom.

The hotel is gorgeous; the views are stunning and the staff are wonderful! We had a king room and it was super comfortable and clean. The bathroom was gorgeous, very modern and the shower was lovely! Food was gorgeous and we ate every meal looking out over a stunning view across to Skye. Breakfast was a lovely buffet but we felt a little expensive for £17 per person. There is a great deal to explore on the island of Raasay and staying here let us do just that! We had a wonderful time and the staff were so welcoming and friendly, couldn’t do enough for you and were so welcoming of our two dogs (even when they were soaking wet and muddy!). The hotel had great amenities such as a games room and library to sit in as well. The food was delicious and they truly are dog friendly which made us feel right at ease.

Took off one star due to hot water and wifi issues. The shower in our room was only slightly above lukewarm, I could not get the temperature any hotter. After a cold day hiking, a hot shower would’ve been nice. Also, the WiFi is not very strong. I had trouble connecting, and it was spotty when trying to do some work.

Beautiful property. Room was comfortable. Lots of different activities around the hotel for entertainment. We enjoyed the game room and library. Dinner was fantastic. The pistachio chicken breast with haggis was my favorite meal throughout our whole stay in Scotland. Breakfast was also good with a nice variety. Wonderful staff. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The bathroom had motion-activated lights which went off every 2 minutes and the shower cubicle was kind of small.

Stunning location, very friendly staff, and a dog-friendly hotel which was brilliantly clean.

Honestly have no dis likes of my stay at rassay house.

From the moment we arrived at rassay house. The warm family welcome from fraya.fin .Alice. and the wonderful lady of the house Lyn. Made me and my dad feel right at home. Great rooms Great breakfast . And 2 minutes walk to the rassay distillery . With options of tours and dinner reservations at the distillery from rassay house we were well looked after and will definitely be visiting again to experience the activities that are available boat rides kayaking and more water activities.

Shame they cant open all year.

Lovely friendly community run house. Gorgeous open fires, very welcoming lots of bonuses, wine and chocolate. Great distillery Tour included. Fantastic lower mobility ground floor room with wet room, handheld and rain shower. Shame it was the last day of the season, could have stayed for longer.

The only very small thing was that we found some confectionery underneath the bed that the cleaners had missed. Otherwise, there was nothing not to like! It was fantastic.

Loved the location, the room and the friendly greeting we recieved upon arrival. Very happy that the hotel was dog friendly. Excellent tour around the distillery included.

The food was excellent too. If I had spent the day walking the Cuillin Ridge I would have chosen one of the more traditional and substantial options, but this is NOT really a criticism. My meal was delicious.

Fine old building in a lovely setting. Very friendly, efficient and helpful staff. I was traveling with two dogs; the hotel's claim to be dog - friendly was fully justified, but my bedroom was immaculately clean with no trace of any previous dog guests.
