Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United Kingdom...in comparison, the cooked breakfast was very dull and virtually taste-free. Some parts of the hotel are looking a little bit tired and in need of renovation - this goes for some of the furniture as well. This didn't worry me, but might be offputting to some guests.
For me, this stay was all about the location of the hotel. I had two venues to walk to during my stay and parking had to be readily accessible. As it turned out, parking was about two minutes walk away and both my venues could be reached in ten minutes on foot - even the Art Gallery and Museum was only about 15 minutes away. The discounted parking rate was most welcome. I was initially concerned about having a room facing the main road, but the soundproofing was excellent and I slept very well. The walk-in shower was glorious. The staff were uniformly excellent - polite, helpful and efficient. The pastries at breakfast were lovely, but...

Upon checking out and having to verify our parking the member of staff on reception only did it for 1 night instead of 2 which meant when we tried to leave the car park the exit barrier rejected the ticket and requested more payment. My partner had to go back to the hotel twice, the first time to pay the 2nd night for parking which was again rejected and upon the final time requested the manager attend the car park to speak to NCP to explain the error.
The hotel was central to our needs. The staff were friendly on reception. Bar staff had a smile for us.
