I had a bit of difficulty finding good places to ear. A lot have shut down.

I loved everything about this place. So much thought has gone into making a stay there special. Breakfast was wonderful, hosts were so helpful, and the little extras were much appreciated. The room had everything you could possibly need.

Lovely place, lovely owners, attentive, not in your face and not over the top. Amazing quality breakfast. Felt at home. Our dogs loved it. The owners dog's were lovely. We can't wait to come back.

If I had to be picky there were too many light in the bedroom. Didn’t hate them it was turning them all off at bedtime 😆

Nick was a friendly host who was welcoming and able to advise on restaurants in the town. Two lovely dogs and wonderful lighting in the bedrooms. Great breakfast with excellent service.

We thought it was a beautiful old building the characteristics of the house inside were lovely and the grounds were very big which I imagine takes a lot of work the host was really pleasant and helpful the breakfast was lovely and plentiful, the two dogs were very friendly we wood recommend this property.

We struggled to get hot water in the bathroom.

The breakfast was delicious with perfect poached eggs. The house is lovely and quirky and the style and design is very in keeping with the period of the house. We had everything we required and were well looked after by our host Nick. It was just a short walk to the town centre for our visit to the theatre.

The property was stunning, with impressive features. Our bedroom overlooked the front drive so we had a wonderful view. We loved the decor in the house and we felt very comfortable and relaxed in the house. Breakfast was outstanding. I really appreciated the attention to detail to everything. Nothing had been overlooked.

It may have been useful to know how to access the property prior to arrival, but it was easy, just open the gate and ask to park in the driveway.

We loved the fact that each room had been carefully crafted and designed with lots of thought and consideration for the period of the property. Additionally, even though the town isn't a usual get away destination, we felt like our stay was a little slice of paradise and the get away we needed. The service was faultless and was such a refreshing change from the disengaged hotel service we have received recently in large corporate hotels. It was easy to park, the owner was exceptionally friendly and funny, there were some lovely dogs and the sleep was bliss. We ate at the Red Bar and Grill which was lovely. The breakfast was delicious too!... Please can we move in?

This was a real “find”. Yes it is a bit quirky as other reviewers have said. But it was great fun and a super experience. Staff superb, very clean room and top notch food. Expectations exceeded. Highly recommended.
