We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We had been staying somewhere else in Stratford upon Avon, due to be 2 nights, but it was so awful, we decided to head to the Lakes a day early, on the Friday, as we were due to go into our self catering accommodation on the Saturday. We booked last minute at the Ravenstone Manor and so, so happy we did. From the second we arrived, we were treated so well by the amazing staff. We had hot drinks by the open fire. We had a lovely evening meal, followed by a walk down to the lake and beautiful Church in close proximity to the hotel. We had a hot chocolate on our return. We slept well and had a delicious breakfast the next morning; again the staff were incredible. Loved this hotel and would definitely recommend to everyone.

Fabulous location, lovely Manor House full of period features but also all mod cons expected. Staff were amazing, so friendly and nothing was too much trouble, food excellent both breakfast and dinner.

United KingdomRestaurant was pricey but food generally good. This is a very doggy hotel with approx half the guests having one or more dogs which were allowed in the dinning room. Not keen on this but the dogs were well behaved and didn’t cause us a problem during our 3 night stay
Good location and an interesting character building. Comfortable and nicely decorated bedroom. Good lounge and bar area with garden overlooking the valley. Good breakfasts.

Best dog friendly accommodation we have ever stayed in , lots of guests with their furry companions which shows how popular it is and they were made most welcome nothing was a problem which made for a relaxing stress free stay. A short drive from Keswick which was ideal , a pleasant evening meal in comfortable surroundings and a good breakfast with a serving of sausage for our dog

United KingdomThe bed was too soft, needed a new mattress perhaps and the shower was not at all powerful. Thankfully the bath was ideal after walking the fells.
Friendly staff, excellent meals, gluten free understood and well catered for. Lovely relaxing place to stay. Clean and comfortable room, bath was a bonus.
