Very friendly host, got several tips for things to see around Stirling. The room was spacious and had all comforts. Breakfast was excellent and several options were available. Would stay again!

Stu was lovely and a pleasure to be around. Happily provided us with a breakfast to go when we had an early start, and kindly drove us to the pub for dinner when it was raining! Thank you very much for your hospitality.

One of the best guesthouses I've stayed at. Stuart was a great host and gave helpful suggestions for where to walk and places to visit. Breakfast was delicious, lots of options and I loved the ability to choose amounts to limit waste. Products and toiletries were high quality, bed was very comfortable, and location is right between all the places you want to visit--nice, short walk to the centre of town, restaurants, university and Bridge of Allan, plus a well-stocked grocery store just down the street if you don't want to eat out every day. Loved that there is a small fridge in the hallway for guests to keep their food. Next time I visit Scotland, I will definitely stay here and do day trips to Edinburgh, Glasgow and other regions by train. Stirling was beautiful.

There was nothing we didn’t like

The breakfasts were generous and hot choices were served on heated plates. The wee Scottish breakfast was substantial. The big Scottish breakfast would be a challenge but would set you up for energetic activities🙂 Maybe Eggs Benedict to savour Scottish smoked salmon would be a nice addition. Stuart was an affable and interesting host, who provided useful insights on what to see in Stirling and Scotland in general.

The location is very convenient if you have a car. If not, it can be a bit of a walk to town or attractions. On the bus line, but for anything else, you need a car.

Stuart was so incredibly welcoming and friendly. He is full of knowledge about the area, how to book things, and with a great story. The house is well maintained and very clean. Much nice artwork.

Stuart is a fantastic host, the Ravenswood is clean and quiet. It is walking to Stirling City Center in one direction and other shops/restaurants in the other.

If you have any mobility issues, note that the rooms are one flight up from the entrance and dining room. Stuart helped us carry our luggage upstairs which was greatly appreciated.

Stuart is a friendly and helpful host and excellent cook as well. It was a nice change for us to stay in a B&B instead of our own self-catering apartment. We enjoyed the wonderful custom hot breakfasts including Stuart’s own delicious brown bread and he provided a wealth of helpful local information to enhance our stay. We’re road cyclists and he’s a cyclist too and recommended a very special ride to us that was beautiful and memorable. It’s a healthy but pleasant walk (about 1.6 km to the center of town) but there is a bus stop nearby and there is paid public parking in town closer to Stirling Castle if you have a vehicle. The Wallace National Monument is near to the Ravenswood Guest House too. Our room had a comfortable bed and en suite bathroom and Smart TV and good Wifi and I’m the hallway there was a shared refrigerator where you could store drinks and snacks or donate to take one of the provided drinks already in the refrigerator.

    Can't think of anything.

We loved host Stewart who was so welcoming and eager to please. Gave us so many good ideas of what to do locally. Breakfast nicely presented and choice of hot and cold items. Parking at front door. House was very tastefully decorated.
