Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

IrelandLack of cooking stuff. The toilet had a bad smell coming from it sometimes although the smell would go once the toilet was flushed. Lack of elevator, if you end up with the apartments on the top floor, it will only discourage you from wanting to go out because of the stairs.
The location is perfect if you want to be near the Reading Station. Apartments are nice and quiet also! We were facing the back so we didn’t get much noise from the main streets at night.

Fab apartment which was nicely decorated and laid out. Exceptionally quiet , especially considering its location. Well equipped, kitchen was very usable and had everything you needed although you couldn’t open the dishwasher door properly because there was a radiator in the way. Nigeriaso I don’t live in the UK. I was coming to stay for a month and decided on Q Apartments. As I was international and I was flying into the country I had no control on when my flight was going to land. I knew I was landing pretty early in the morning and I requested for somewhere to keep my luggage as it was made clear that check in was strictly to start at 4pm. I had a lot of suit cases and the management would offer me a sloughing to this issue I had arrived reading at 10 in the morning and there with my suit cases with nowhere to go as I was away from home. the property also doesn’t have a reception or somewhere I could wait till I was able to check in. that was very disappointing and annoying I had to book a one night stay at a hotel in city centre penta hotel I think so that I have have somewhere to stay and keep my suit cases. I think your property doesn’t cater for such and for the price we pay you need to sort that out. Also I your property doesn’t have an elevator I think that is something that is definitely worth investing in the struggle to lift all my suit cases up five or six flight of stairs was not funny. I also stayed at your property for quite a while. At first I was satisfied with the cleaning until I noticed an infestation of spiders in my apartment. there where spiders everywhere! and their cobwebs I was shocked your cleaning team missed that. the toilet shower was mouldy as well a bit disgusting and your cleaners need to do a more through cleaning in the weekly clean service. I also didn’t like the fact that there was no bin store and I had to keep a weeks worth of trash in my apartment before your cleaners came to get them. your kitchen needs to be better equipped as well and the kettle needs to be cleaned it had limescale. your kitchen extractor was placed awfully for people like me I’m 5ft8 I hurt my head twice with the edge the second time I had to go to the hospital because it wouldn’t stop bleeding

United KingdomToo many narrow stairs to climb with luggage and was not informed I was right at the top. Apartment had a funny smell, smells from others cooking would come through the vents into the bedroom and lounge area and the bathroom had a stale smell. Couldn’t open the window, hairs in the shower but honestly these weren’t major issues.
Excellent location, the apartment was finished to a high standard, quality comfy bed, and was so quiet.

This gets taken after booking, and although it was returned promptly a couple of days after checkout without any issues, it meant that I was without this money for around 3 weeks. Be mindful of this if booking this property, particularly if booking a long time in advance of your stay.
Great location a few minutes from train station. Access instructions were clear. Very little noise could be heard through the windows despite being in the centre of town. Comfy bed with plenty of pillows.
