Unfortunately had an issue with the key code app, although was dealt with quickly with a quick phone call. Had stay previously, and the app access worked very well.

The virtual key was a pain at times as it took a few attempts to get the apartment door open on a couple of occasions.

Beautiful apartment with everything you could ask for and spotlessly clean & bright. Will definitely use it again as it's a freak location and was very quiet at night.

Bathroom was surprisingly small but functional. Coffee machine user manual did not seem to match the model. A little wear and tear on the walls should be repainted to make the apartment look more visually appealing and new. (This last part is just nitpicking of course)

The location was great. It was near Waitrose and M&S supermarkets, Royal West of England Academy, a great selection of restaurants (Pasta Loco, Bravas, Muino, Brown's) and within walking distance of pharmacy (boots). Looking up information about the stay such as appliances and check-out were easy with the link provided. Keys were easily received as it was all done online (have to download to Livvi app). The apartment was also very clean and the in-room fragrance, slippers were a nice touch. It was nice that the wifi was also speedy and there was a tv. There was free coffee and tea too! Would've been nice if the kettle was regularly descaled.

Excellent location, very convenient at Clifton. Center of Bristol. Easy to get to. I like the online check-in; it is fast and easy. The hotel business model is fantastic; you check in online and get your digital room key immediately. The room was clean and had all we needed. Thanks to the business owners for taking care of all details. Redmayne House will always be our choice when we revisit the city.

We had a hiccup at check in (no concierge as everything was automated pre arrival) , we came into a room to find there are already a couple in there… thank goodness we were able to contact management late at night and ended up taking the other couple’s room instead.

Other guests disturbed us early in the morning. The front door was smashed in, which scared me and my sister and wasn't cleared up until next day late morning. Glass and splinters all over the floor which was a big H&S risk. We couldn't get out of the building

If using Livvi app to access doors (instead of key), then make sure you also have bluetooth and near frequency (NFC) enabled on Settings. And that your mobile phone has a passcode or good security. My phone was only set to open using swipe which I know is a poor security setting. So I had to set a passcode on my phone first before being able to use the app. Do this before you arrive! Once set, the app worked well.

Very clean and comfortable. Good quality furnishings. Excellent location. Staff helpful over the phone. There were concealed wooden shutters behind the curtains which were useful. Overall a very good stay.

The windows were inadequate so the road noise and people coming back from nights out was VERY loud. We didn't sleep well on the first night due to this. Earplugs are a must. Whilst not a real issue for us, the app system for opening the apartment could prove an issue if you are older/ a technophobe.

Beautifully decorated and well equipped apartment. Felt like a home from home! Location was fab and great to stay close to Clifton suspension bridge + observatory. A change from staying in the city centre.

I had issues with the Livvi access system, whereby I often had to force the app to stop, to be able to use it to open the locks, so that was a tad annoying. Also, I arrived quite late and wasn't able to see the links to the online property guide from my Android phone and work emails. This meant that I couldn't get the Wifi password, and had to be on Zoom v early the next day for work. I ended up speaking multiple times to the Security Guard (super-helpful and polite), who was relaying messages to me from the Duty Manager. I kept being told to find the link for the guide, but it wasn't clickable, either in the Booking.com app, or in my emails. I kept trying to type it in manually, but, obvs, must have been using an i instead of an l, or something similar, as the page kept coming up blank. Also the Duty Manager, who was eventually persuaded to just tell the Security Guard the Wifi password, got that wrong several times - so we went back and forth on that too! It would have been super-helpful, all round, for the Duty Manager to have a list of current Wifi passwords and to trust that I was telling the truth about not being able to access the link as 'linkable' - This would have saved me around 90 minutes of farting about at the end of a very long day (I'd got up at 3am in Vienna, flown into London Gatwick, picked up a hire car and driven home and then onto Bristol, not arriving until mid-evening). Other than this inauspicious start, once I did have Wifi, everything in the flat was great, except the motion sensor lights, which come on automatically in the hallway and seem to stay on for ever. This means if you get up to go to the loo in the middle of the night, because this light is so bright, you are fully awake for a while after :(.

Absolutely loved staying in this flat. It was beautifully decorated and felt luxurious and calm. The kitchen was very well equipped, which was great, as my daughter, who's studying in Bristol, came each day and we had lunch and supper together. The bed was fantastically comfy and everything was spanking clean. It's not cheap stay for 1 person. However, if you were coming as a couple, I think this is fantastic value too.

It's set in a busy area so traffic noise could be an issue. The only other issue was a bright LED light that came on automatically at 08.30 am right over the bed, and we could find no way of turning it off, although it did so itself after about 10 mins - very strange!

Top quality apartment in ideal location, with nearby free parking. Very well equiped with all the latest appliances. Comfortable beds.

Everything. We have stayed in several lovely properties in the immediate area -apartments inc. bedsits and a hotel - and this was the best yet. Very cosy, great location and they had thought of everything. Even left a card and chocolates for my birthday!
