Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe space for the double bed was really tight, not a lot of room to the bathroom door, which itself easily banged if you got up during the night as it’s a top hung sliding door. The place must cost a fortune to heat as it was sooo warm when we entered. The toaster stopped working at breakfast and traced the fault to a damaged extension lead, the cable was bent too tight, alerted a member of staff and they understood the issue which was good to hear.
Location and the staff were very friendly. I thought breakfast was excellent.

United KingdomExpensive for what it is, even for London. Room was a bit tired - some peeling paint and scratched furniture and a damaged window frame. Also a bit cold. The room had an adjoining door - when my neighbours came home in the early hours I could hear their entire conversation, but I was too tired to think about moving, so I just tried to sleep through. Then their alarms started going at 6am. Better soundproofing please!
Location was great, staff were very friendly and helpful. I didn't really make use of the facilities, but they seemed fine. Room was a lot larger than I expected and had a small kitchenette which was very handy. Room was generally comfortable and well equipped.

United StatesThe room was very hot when we arrived as well as the next day even with the AC left in all day and blinds drawn closed. Room was smaller than we pictured. No room in the living area once sofa bed was out.
It was clean and staff friendly, staff overlooking breakfast was very friendly and food was good. Older African-American staff was extremely helpful and nice. She was always refilling the serving stations and always had a smile and greeted everyone. She was also being helpful to another staff by giving her advice on how to handle certain situations.

This is a perfectly fine hotel in London. Close enough to London Bridge and all it has to offer. Affordable enough for the space you get. We stayed in the large suite, 2 full beds and 1 pull-out sofa. I found it to be quite comfortable for 3 people and their massive luggages. Bathrooms (2) were clean. Beds were comfortable. 3 tvs provided is almost an overkill. Full kitchen, supplies and a little dining area. The AC worked almost too well. Plenty of outlets with USB charging (bring your converters if you need US plugs). Strong WiFi. What else do you need? The staff was welcoming and helpful. We arrived at 6am in the morning and we were extremely tired when we got to the hotel. I did request early check-in and they had my room ready for me on arrival. Of course, that service is only available based on how full they are for the day. We were lucky. Overall, we were satisfied guests!
