It was extremely hot, though there’s not a lot you can do about that. Being on the top floor didn’t help this although the large fan was very necessary

We were absolutely happy there. The manager Marek was very kind and helpful. We enjoyed breakfast, plus we appreciated small kitchen in our room. The accomodation is 10 min walk from underground station or town center.

The location was perfect for visiting WB studios. The Harry Potter themed room was fantastic and very well thought out. My 10 year old son and I loved it. Many additional touches that really made our stay pleasant and the manager was friendly, welcoming and very helpful. The continental breakfast selection was varied and fresh. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Guesthouse is located a 10 min walk from Watford Junction so is really handy for getting in and out of London. On arrival we were met by the manager who showed us around and ensured we had contact details if we needed anything. Studio was very spacious and fridge filled with water and fruit juice on arrival. Studio got quite warm in the evening but a fan was provided in the room to cool it down. My daughter was given a gift and sweets on arrival which really made her day. On our departure we forgot our passports and the owner went above and beyond to return these to us. Wouldn't hesitate to return here again.

The double bed was a bit small. Okay for a couple of nights if you are not too big/tall.

Wonderfull room. The kids (and we) loved the Harry Potter theming! On arrival there were drinks in the fridge and gifts and chocolate for the children. We were welcomed by a very nice host.

Perhaps a dishwasher for breakfast dishes rather than staff having to handwash them whilst guests are having breakfast. Otherwise all was good.

Room was large, airy & bright. Lots of goodies left for us. Small bottle of wine, biscuits & sweets. Housekeeper was friendly. Owner kindly rang to see if we had arrived from US & settled in OK, said to ring if we needed anything. Plenty of free car parking space. Plenty to eat in breakfast room.

The beds could have been better. Breakfast full self service. Different from all what I've had seen before. But has the advantage that you were absolutly free to choose what you like or even bring your own stuff.

Perfect Service and help through Sam. He helped us a lot. The room was very clean. At the end it was a very good time and an enjoyable stay. Absolutly recommended.

I really liked the atmosphere and the kindness of the people. We had a great room, nevertheless they should make sure that the Wizarding Studio room is not mistaken for the Harry Potter room that leads to disappointments.

The first room we were put in. Had sloping ceilings and beds uncomfortable. Couple of other issues but things quickly resolved.

Customer service was excellent. We had a problem with our room in arrival however we were moved to a different room which was the Harry Potter room and this more than made up for it. Location fab for Wembley. Breakfast room clean and well equipped.

The wasn't anything not to like. Everything was perfect

The location was brilliant and a ten minute walk to Watford tube station for a 40 min tube ride to center of London. Sam the owner was really helpful and upgraded our room when we were very late for check in. He also allowed us a late check out when we went to Harry Potter Tour on the last day so we could leave our cases there. The breakfast was superb too and fresh every morning. I couldn't fault the place

The "rabbit" room faces the road, which is quite noisy. You get used to that, but still. Bed is really comfy, just a bit small - 140cm I guess. Didn't bother us, but someone can. We spent a day working. One WiFi didn't work at all, the other one had some hiccups. Apart of that it was strong and sufficient. Toilet window is hard to close once you open it. All of the items here are just minorities. Great accommodation overall!

The manager was very helpful. We didn't have chance to meet him, but still gave very good advice where to eat in the neighborhood. Spacious room, very comfy bed, coffee machine with supplies in the room, other refreshments provided too. Breakfast with sufficient options - pastry, cereals, fruit and bread plus ham, salami, cheese, yoghurt, juices and milk in the fridge. Located about 15-20 mins of fast walk from the DLR train at Watford Junction or 10 mins from Watford Underground. City center is about 10-15 mins.

The staff was very nice. They made us find a bottle of wive and some chocolate because It was our honey-moon trip. As soon as they knew It was, they also made a free upgrade to our room, and gave us the suite. In addiction: they let us leave our car in their private parking all day long even if we had already made the checkout.

There's absolutely nothing we can think of, it was a perfect experience.

We had an amazing stay here. The staff was incredibly nice and went above and beyond to make our stay a truly magical one. The room is very well thought out, with incredible attention to detail and a lot of Harry Potter inspired design, we felt like staying in a room at Hogwarts :). Everything was very clean and the included breakfast was great. The property is situated in a nice neighborhood with easy access to transportation, parks and local shops. There's no better place to stay if you're a Harry Potter fan or if you're just looking for awesome accomodation in the area. A one of a kind gem we cannot recommend enough.

Our experience in Ricky Road Guest House could not have been better. Since arrival, they made us feel at home, always available for any questions and even got us a room upgrade which was perfect. The room was very spacious, with 2 beds (1 queen and another single), a large couch and a fully equipped kitchen, that allowed us to cook our own meals at night. The breakfast was also really good, with everything that you may need to start your day. The house is located near a Tesco Express (5 minutes walk), the Watford Station (10 minutes walk) and the Watford Junction Railway Station (15 minutes walk). Therefore, it's a perfect place to stay either if you want to visit London and/or Harry Potter Studios. We highly recommend this place and if we ever go back to London, we will definitely stay here again. A special thanks to Peter that was very nice to us and always available!
