The apartment was an easy walk from the train station and the centre of York. Very comfortable. We went out for breakfast both mornings and ate out in the evening too. We did purchase cakes after shopping and a visit to Jorvik and took them back to the apartment which was so much nicer than being in a hotel. Communication was excellent.

I have stayed in this apartment before and find the location and comfort of the apartment to be exceptional. it is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Clare the owner goes out of her way to delight. she is very friendly and accommodating. her response to questions is very fast.

Great location. Only a short walk to the main center. The unit was a good size and plenty of room for the 3 of us. Clare left us a personalised welcome note which was nice and was very helpful at the time of arrival. Good size rooms and comfy beds.

Two small points.Very difficult to find BBC 1 news on the TV. It needed the intervention of our grandson to achieve it. We needed something to ensure that Richard didnt slip in the shower and used a hand towel as there was no nonslip mat.

Beautiful clean well equipped flat. Very central situation ,an easy walk from the rail station and also all relevant places we wished to visit in the City.Also very handy to have a Sainsburys store with cash machine right on the corner.

My one and only disappointment was there is no river view :( ,I obviously didn't read it properly and assumed as it says riverside appt it would overlook the river and as I'm very much into a river /sea view I was a little gutted as I was looking forward to enjoying my coffee looking out at the river ,not a car park :( most windows are overlooked by other apartment or carpark ,I was only there one night so no big deal and it does not deter from it being a lovely appt and it wouldn't stop me staying again as the river is jst around the corner 👌

Water heater needs boosting if you run a bath, no big deal but a little annoying if you’re not aware.

Fantastic Apartment in an excellent location 5 minutes walk from the centre of York and all its attractions. Exceptionally clean with plenty of room for the 4 of us. Fantastic communication from the owner both before and after our stay and the personal message on the blackboard in the kitchen just adds to the overall experience and we left one back. Full kitchen facilities, bathroom with bath and shower. For the price, this has to be one of the best value properties in York given the location, and we will definitely be staying here again. If this apartment is available for your dates, book it to avoid disappointment as it books out quickly. There is no onsite parking, but there are plenty of options close by to park your car. If you're savvy, and an early riser, you can park on the riverside next to the apartment overnight but it has to be moved by 8am. Only stayed for one night wish we booked two York is a beautiful place to visit. The view from the window was not over the river but we were out enjoying the town anyway so not important.

Great location, good information and very friendly, easy to contact. Accomodation very clean and homely with everything you need including, tea, coffee, milk, towels, plus hair dryer and staightners for the ladies.
