Everything was perfect!

The setting was beautiful. The lodge had everything you needed, warm and cosy. Hot tub amazing and well used - day and night. Use of paddle boards and canoes provided lots of fun. Staff very friendly and informative.

Literally the only thing I could fault was it was too hot of a night but that was it.

The bed could have been a little comfier/softer but honestly that is the only thing, and it's down to personal preference.

Beautiful location, lodges had everything you need and were so cozy inside. The staff/owners are attentive and friendly, checks every night to make sure everyone is okay and happy. Felt right at home, didn't want to leave. The best birthday I've ever had staying here - will definitely be returning.

There is absolutely no negative comment from our end , was planned and organised very well, our stay was a quiet peaceful yet fun as we wanted, there is so much view and lots of cosy forest walks, rafting on the river was a bonus.

We took all essential food with us which worked out perfectly for us, and kitchen came with a pull out extendable table which added a lovely cosy comfy dining feel to our accommodation and you can choose to eat indoor or outdoor with the river view

What a lovely cabin! Has such a homely feeling, very warm and cozy. Great for families or couples as there’s multiple rooms and bathrooms in the cabin we stayed in. The owner was also very welcoming and made sure that we had a great experience and the staff also helped recommend areas to visit near the cabin site. Thank you.

If I really had to be picky there aren’t any coat hooks inside the cabin but other than that absolutely nothing. Was a perfect stay.

Amazing stay, cabins are cute and cosy. Was worried they may be cold as it’s February but the underfloor heating keeps it very toasty. We stayed in Doris along the river front with a hot tub. Although the hot tub on first impression looked quite exposed to the main pathways - once it gets dark it really does feel private. Location was amazing with lots of lovely country walks nearby. Recommend the Cross Keys pub and New Inn pubs nearby for food - delicious. Staff and the owner were very friendly. View from the cabins are lovely and peaceful. We stayed as a couple but this would also be a great place with kids (in one of the larger cabins)

Only slight moan was place was cold on first night, but once we got settled and used to everything was easy to warm place up.

Lodge was modern and clean. Like how spacious place was (lodges didn’t feel on top of each other) and had your own privacy.

It is hard to find anything that we did not like. I think the only thing I would say is there seemed to be a lack of provision for hanging jackets/clothes or anywhere to put them. However space has been fully utilised throughout the cabin. It is possible I may have not noticed where the hanging/storage clothes was.

The location is beautiful. The owners let you roam freely across the acres. The attention to detail by the owners into the facilities in the cabin is of a high level and so are the fixtures and fittings. The hot tub was really hot and clean. We made use of the BBQ/fire pit and that too was great. The owner checks your stay is going well but is not intrusive whilst achieving this.

Lovely cabin, so cosy in the evening with under floor heating so we weren’t cold even though it was minus figures outside! Cabin has everything you need, even an air fryer! Hot tub was lovely and warm! Anthony who came to check in on us and show my partner how to use the tub was very friendly and helpful!

We stayed in a cabin where the hot tub wasn’t directly outside the cabin so it wasn’t ideal getting in and out as didn’t feel overly private. We would return but book a different cabin. The staff were around a lot but felt a little less private when coming over to talk mid way through breakfast. Maybe leave a number in the cabin for guests to contact if they need assistance. My only other comment is the lawn mower was going from about 9.30 on the Saturday morning. Meant the morning wasn’t as quiet as we had hoped and went on for a while.

Overall we had a fantastic stay. The cabin was decorated really nicely and had all the facilities you would need. There was a dish washer, air fryer, fridge, microwave, coffee machine and more. The bed was comfortable and cabin was clean. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. Stunning views and really felt relaxed.
