Decor is definitely quirky, once you get used to it it's fine. A little dark inside and very theatrical but loads of lights helped.

Little extra touches prosecco and cake waiting for us when we arrived were appreciated. The lady who owned it was in touch checking if everything all right. Very friendly and helpful. Bed was so comfortable I slept really well. Kitchen lovely well equipped, outside space overlooking river was lovely too.

Nothing really, owner explained about where to unload and also where to park nearby.

Great location, away from main shops but still close to everything. Loved the unique, magical decor! and garden area, we ate outside all the time! Owner more than helpful, very friendly and very thoughtful to make our stay extra special. Lots of lovely little touches, would definitely stay in this or their other properties again.

Even with a bit of drizzly rain, the stay was fantastic 👌

Everything! This couple have thought of everything when creating this masterpiece of a wonderland. There's literally nothing they haven't thought of. The attention to detail in the decor is of the highest. Simply stunning 😍 100% recommended and 100% if I stay in Llangollen again, it will only be for this house. Location, views, sounds (river water running by), wonderfully decorated, it has it all. If you could paint from inside the mind of a librettist, it would materialise as 23 Opera Suites. Debbie went above and beyond to ensure our check in and stay were as magical as the home. Video instructions on car park suggestions, check-in process, and storage facilities! Mentioned i wanted to watch live music, so Debbie sent info on local pubs with local bands on. Always on hand to answer any queries, and so so thoughtful! We even had an Easter card posted through on Easter Sunday morning. Can not articulate how enjoyable this stay has been. 100 out of 100!!

Comng home.

Everything. The house had a cosy feel to it and you instantly felt at home and relaxed. With beautiful river views and a log burner for the chilly evening, we wished we had booked for a week. The decorations and quirky signs put a smile on our faces. Even the welcoming prosecco and cake were appreciated. It was truly the best place we have stayed. Plus, the video directions and helpful text messages made the stay even better .

One little downside which didnt cause us any problem, was We had to park on a car park nearby, and to unload you could use the co op car park opposite.and then park.., but the owner has a car park pass which made life easy

The house is situated right by the river dee, the house itself is excellent with everything you need and great location. Love the quirky way the house is with all sorts of interesting decor around the rooms. The furnishings are comfortable and well looked after with all amenities in the kitchen. The garden is well set out and pleasant to sit in. An added plus is the owner is really pleasant and helpful and I would recommend to anyone who wished to stay

The location and the decor of the property is amazing. The finishing touches really make this property stand out. Debbie and Nicholas are amazing and really care. The pre planning information and messages to make sure our arrival was made as easy as possible. The welcome gifts, Prosecco, chocolates and a lovely little cake. Thank you 😘

Super cottage in a great location. The decor was fantastic and the cottage had everything you could need and more. The host was very helpful and friendly, and we were welcomed with cake and Prosecco. We loved sitting out in the garden too.

What a gorgeous cottage! Everything about it exceeded our expectations. The kitchen is great, really large with everything you could need. Despite looking small from outside, there's plenty of room downstairs and a gorgeous yard with the river flowing past at the bottom and beautiful views of the stone circle in the distance. The cottage is right in the heart of Llangollen, a very quick walk to the 'centre' and close to some great restaurants. A parking permit was also provided and there is a car park a couple of mins away, which was convenient. Host also left the nicest lemon cake we've ever had and a couple of other little extras which were much appreciated. Overall we had an excellent stay and wouldn't hesitate in returning!

Location was great for everything. Host was really helpful. Little extras were left for us like cake, prosecco and fresh milk. Extremely helpful with advice on parking etc. Cottage itself was lovely, loads of quirky features and was right on the river.

Parking was an issue but not one that anyone could do anything about unfortunately. Other than that, no issues.

Very well equipped, everything "themed" which was fun. Liked the provision of cake, prosecco and milk and tea bags etc. All in all very thoughtful. Beds very comfy. Everything of good quality and in good order, no chipped plates, cracked glasses. conveniently situated for the town but quiet at night. A beautiful view from the back garden-very tranquil and calming. Host very helpful and friendly.

Hosts sent us videos & texts prior to arrival regarding places to park, all within a short walking distance of the cottage & entry access code etc. Upon arrival we were met by our lovely sunflower host, who had thought of absolutely everything that you might need to make your stay special. The cottage was welcoming, spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable & quirky. The seating & views over the river in both directions made it seem very private. Within easy walking distance of all amenities, shops, restaurants & places of interest. We all agreed that everything was absolutely 'spot on' and we can't recommend this host and her property highly enough. Thank you so much for making our stay so comfortable.

Nothing. People need to be aware that this is a small cottage property with space at a premium - but this did not distract in anyway from our stay.
