Loved everything! Just as it was advertised and just what I was looking for. Peaceful, quiet and secluded. Beautiful site. Cooking on the open fire was perfect.

It was in a beautiful location and it was very peaceful. It was situated near a 'must visit' cider farm named Sheppy's where we got to see the orchards. There is some nice pubs near by and some good hiking routes. We are hoping to visit again soon!

Outdoor fire for cooking, compost toilet, right next to river, dark enough to see stars properly, clean comfy bed, heated up quickly with small wall heater.

Trees and shrubs slightly overgrown at the rear of the hut, blocking any sunshine unfortunately.

Lovely peaceful location. Hut was warm and clean. Compost loo better than expected! The resident parrot watched us eating our breakfast!!

We loved it all !

Exceptional. Communication and access was super smooth. The grounds are beautiful, the setting is as dreamy as it gets - with the horses and the beautiful pond, the swans and the magical river at the foot of the garden. It’s all incredibly neat, clean and well kept yet charming. The fire pit and DVD player in the room were super cosy touches.

There were some young trees planted between the car parking and the accomodation for screening, when it rained it was hard to brush through them without getting damp.

Wonderful location, idyllic scenery and the river 10m from the door. It was very peaceful. It was great having an open fire to BBQ over. Fallling asleep and waking up to the quiet burble of the river was amazing.

Peaceful location, lovely to switch off and just enjoy some childless adult time amongst beautiful surroundings. I very much appreciated the self checkin and checkout as well as being left to our own devices.

There was nothing I didn't like, but chose not to use the compostible loo which is not a problem as there is a flushable one a very short walk away.

I needed time away from the world and this was a perfect place for that. I have not graded the staff because other than a returned phone call which I prompted I did not see anyone. The response was attentive and helpful! Perfect isolation! The room is brilliant, sitting by the fire if you light one is a lovely way to reflect and it is a peaceful spot. Instructions were clear albeit I still got a bit lost on the way in!! More me than the instructions! The shower was fine, but it is not a hotel (loo may unsettle some) but once you work it out it is fine! It was a perfect place to escape to and wish with hindsight I had stayed for another night. Would definitely go back.

Very relaxing, perfect little getaway to unwind and chill. The cabin was spotless and very comfortable. Short walk to the local pub and fantastic farm shop 2 minute drive away

I'm not that tall, but if you are you might struggle with the headroom

There was a open fire outside the hut and the river was within throwing distance, so was so nice to sit around the fire listening to the river rolling past, they even give you marshmallows...😁

Unfortunately I hadn't read the email which came with the booking and there was neither Wifi nor mobile data at the property so it completely my fault that it took me about an hour to locate the code to the key-safe. However - the lack of a human being was rather disconcerting ... though I do understand why. Everything was managed with clear notes and notices. I eventually located the lady who was able to tell me everything and she was very helpful when I did find her. And also very helpful when I rang her to say there was no water in the shower ... the tap at the side had been turned off. All was well in the end. It's a beautiful location and everything was spotlessly clean. Top tip:

We really enjoyed every moment clean cosy . The outside was beautiful in the morning we sat outside with a cuppa listening to the birds & stream . Just so nice . The evening sat by the campfire x

Love it ! so peaceful would recommend for those who need to escape for just alittle while just to unwind . We will go again.
