Absolutely stunning place to stay if you like piece and quiet jo was welcoming when we arrived and made sure we had everythink we needed despite the bad weather we still had a fantastic weekend definitely be back 😀

Nothing! The wood fired hot tub was a huge learning experience for me and I did much better on the second night but Jo is super happy to help.

We had a lovely break at Riverwood farm Glamping. We booked both the Safari Tent and the Shepherd's Hut. Jo met us on arrival and was lovely. It was lovely to have the space to ourselves as we are a big family. We made use of the hot tub, fire pit and barbecue. The Hot tub at the Shepherd's hut heats up quicker. Everything we needed was there including a nice touch of a bottle of prosecco in the fridge. The beds were lovely and comfy and everything was lovely and clean x

The typical english weather, so the cottage was a little bit small...

What a great place to stay for four nights! The cottage was fantastic! We had a lot of privacy. In the morning and evening the children had a great time in the hot tub, in combination with the bbq. It was kind of Jo to warm up the hot tub on arrival. Highly recommended for slow living and glamping!

This is a very special place and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking to relax and unwind. Jo and the family are very welcoming and are natural hosts. All of the facilities are first class and make for a unique holiday. We feel lucky to have found Riverwoods Farm.

Too many files haha, and the price was just a little high only in the sense that, we stayed from a Thursday to a Saturday but to stay for more night was £180 I understand that everything is getting more expensive. But as you can't arrive until after 15.00/16.00 pm on your first day so you essential lose out on half a day and you need to leave before 10.00 on your leaving day. So just seemed a little steep for one more night.

Brilliant location very easy to find. Our little 21 week old Border terrier loved it. Loved the walks and the hut tub was very relaxing.

The passing trains was the only distraction, but they are pretty infrequent and soon forgotten.

The location and property was prefect to escape the the rush of everyday life, to kick back and relax. Barbecue in wood land setting, relaxing in the wood fired hot tub and then to relax on the decking with drink looking out on to woodland. The isolation was wonderful, i hope they can keep the location this way, the hut is down a short path about a two minute walk from the the parking lot.

The rural location and seclusion along with the facilities gave a perfect match for a quiet time away with a bed for the night and peace and tranquility - a great place to chill

A little tight for space for our family of 4, but if the weather had been better would have been ideal with the use of the outside space.

The shepherd's hut was very cosy and comfortable. Very clean. Was lovely to be met by Jo, who showed us the accommodation and how to use the wood fired hot tub, which was lovely to use after a long day. Fabulous outside space.

Can't fault it I had a fantastic stay, it had everything and more than we needed. Was greeted with a smile and showed around and leave to enjoy - the hottub was already and preheated for arrive (win-win)

The bed was very firm ( personal preference) and there wasnt much outside lighting which was good for seeing the stars but not so good for seeing where you are going. especially down the gravel path or near the hot tub.

The location was beautiful. The hot tub and heated floor were a godsend. Everything you could need was supplied and overall we had a fantastic time.

Absolutely loved our stay here. All the facilities are there that you need, the hot tub was lovely, being able to take the dog for a walk around the woodland area freely was so great. All very private so it’s perfect for a romantic time away.

The hut was modern and well-equipped and very comfortable. I stayed on my own but the hut would be ideal for a young family. Jo, the host, was welcoming and very helpful both before and during my stay

Excellent facilities, hosts had gone above and beyond to make the stay as comfortable as possible. Wonderful amount of space and seclusion. The log-fired hot tub was fantastic and we were very grateful for the blackout blinds.

Being very very picky, but the fridge was very small and the hot tub was a shame to have to "buy" the logs to use the hot tub. Also took at least 2 hours to warm up

The location was fantastic, parking not far. Absolutely loved the hut, was a small space but made so well with lots of storage space. So much outdoor space, was great to have a bbq there and loved the firepit. Bought our whole house, but was so unnecessary as everything we needed was already there

A little conscious that anyone could approach the hut at night as there was no fence or barrier, but that was the only thing about the property that we didn't like.

We were very comfortable and the hut has all the bells and whistles you could expect. Everything felt like it had a lot of effort put into it. Really beautiful surrounding area and everything was very clean. Perfect for a family break.

We greeted by Jo on arrival who gave us a quick tour around before leaving us to settle in. She had left a bottle of prosecco and some milk in the fridge which was nice after a long drive down. The shepherds hut was exceptionally clean and had been very well thought out to make the most of the small space. The hot tub was great for keeping the kids entertained and although it feels like your in the middle of nowhere there is lots to do in the surrounding areas. Some of the point made in previous reviews have been picked up on so we've nothing more to add. Thanks for a lovely weekend and we hope to stay again in the not too distant future. 😁
