Cleaning standards could be higher. Also bathroom did not have an extractor / vent and as a result all its moisture and odours end up in the room. Breakfast options were very limited lacking even cheese. Breakfast could be richer.

The hotel has a great location, minutes walking from the sea. Clean indoor swimming pool and activities like ping pong table and billiard.

This hotel is very quiet at nights inside and out, great for sleeping in late. Lovely hot water in the bathroom and the radiator was on all night, keeping the room cosy and warm.

-Parking available first in first go, therefore the spot is not guaranteed(which is not mentioned on booking), there's a high chance of you having to find a spot on the street which may be hard( for me guaranteed parking was a deciding factor for this hotel) -The hotel facilities are very old fashioned and you feel like the place needs a good refurb (unpleasant smell on the corridors) - My encounter with the duty manager (due to lack of parking space ) wasn't nice, he ignored me during the conversation-spoke with just his colleague as if I wasn't there, not a word said to me apart from that he'll repark his car, however no more encounters with him so can't tell if he's always like that

Although we paid up front for room and breakfast, booking.com did not pass the correct information on to the hotel and said we were room only. Thankfully we had the email confirmation with us, but the slip up did cause consternation at reception and took a while to sort out. We also discovered if we had booked direct with the Riviera Hotel it would have been cheaper, so that is what we will do next time we go there.

Buffet breakfast was great, plenty of choice. Good location near the beach. Enjoyed the jacuzzi and swimming pool.

We were upgraded at no extra cost into a lovely room in the roof, sea facing with a balcony, fab, thank you Riviera. Unfortunately, the rooms are very poorly insulated so we could our noisy neighbour into the early hours, two of the three nights we stayed there which tainted our experience.

We chose this hotel primarily as it is dog friendly and our little Jack Russell was truly spoilt. The location was great for exploring and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent too. Definitely recommend if you are looking forward somewhere dog friendly

The mattresses on the beds weren’t good. The main bed was too small and much too hard. I still have backpain because of sleeping in it. The beds of the children weren’t good either. The spirals were coming through the matras.

The breakfast was very good. The people at the reception were very nice. The location of the hotel is fantastic. And it was very clean.
