This was a lovely stay for our family of four. The hosts were wonderful, always making sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were spotless and very well thought out in terms of making use of the space. The bathroom was very modern and in perfect working condition. I loved the furniture and decorations in the breakfast room and the breakfast itself was fantastic with lots of things to choose from. All in all, we had a great time and would return for another visit.

Geoffrey was an exceptional host and really went the extra mile. The rooms were newly renovated, cosy and clean. Breakfast was lovely, there was a huge continental range. We will definitely be back the next time we are in the area.

Great location, quiet street. The host was amazing! Nothing was too much trouble and great communication. We didn’t arrive till late and he made sure we had everything we needed. In the morning the breakfast was lovely. The host gave us loads of great advice about Paultons park as that’s where we were off to. He was great with the kids and made us feel so welcomed and looked after. The rooms were fabulous and clean, the beds were comfy and the bathroom was fab. Really everything was perfect and nothing was too much trouble. We felt so well looked after! Would definitely recommend!!! It was great to have the option of 2 rooms as it’s not always great having the kids in the same room. They felt safe and looked after too. It just was really fabulous!

Geoffrey and Avril are exceptional hosts and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable in every respect. The breakfast was delicious and the interconnecting bedrooms were just what we wanted. The location was ideal, by Romsey station so we travelled to Salisbury by train avoiding parking and traffic.

Geoff and Avril were exceptional hosts, the house is newly refurbished, so it feels fresh and clean. Very comfortable rooms with tea / coffee making facilities and 2 large bottles of water. We had a bottle of bubbles, Avril put it in the fridge and then gave us an ice bucket and glasses, so very thoughtful. Breakfast was excellent, a choice of continental or full English, lovely fresh fruit salad too. Clearly Avril and Geoff have thought about every detail to make a perfect stay.

I was expecting rooms in an old brewery; this is rooms in a house.

No blinds in one of the bedrooms so we had to hang towels wedges in to the windows to keep the light out. No fans and it was quite hot so was a stuffy nights sleep. Didn’t mention that there was a cattery in the garden so we had the sound of cats for a large part of the night and early morning!

Very helpful hosts and excellent breakfast selection. Rooms were immaculate.
