It was located in a quiet village. Garry told us about the local Loch Ness Inn and kindly booked us a table - and the food was delicious. The rooms were cosy and warm, and everything was spotlessly clean. We only stayed for one night, but would definitely return. Garry was very helpful and made us feel very welcome. Thank you very much.

The rooms were very clean and well kept. There were lots of little touches that Garry and Margaret did, such as providing shower caps and toiletries, as well as changing towels and replenishing the tea, coffee, biscuits etc. daily. All of these things made our stay even better. We enjoyed playing the dominoes and dobble game provided in the property. The location was great - it was walkable to the local pub (the food was lovely), a petrol station, co-op and pharmacy. Urquhart castle isn't far either. A big thank you also to them for providing oat milk for us to have coffee and tea each morning, it was really appreciated. Lots of leaflets of things to do in the local area were available. Overall we had a lovely stay and would stay here again if we returned to Loch Ness.

Our only issue is that we did not heed all the advice from travel sites about making advance reservations for dinner, and that is our own fault! The property was perfect!

The cottage was perfect, with 2 en-suite bedrooms and a great conservatory for gathering. It was small, but great use has been made of the space, and the bathrooms were generous. The amenities were great — we had to go find bottles of the shampoo to take home! The decor was lovely, and we really enjoyed the garden area extras!

No cooking facilities which could prove a problem longer term. However we ate at the Loch Ness Inn on the 1 night we spent at Elmbank which was an easy walk away.

It was great having a wee apartment all to ourselves with a comfortable bright conservatory seating area. The beds were very comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. Our host, Garry, was extremely helpful and welcoming.

Everything. Really. The owners have done such a nice job renovating/decorating this space. They have also thought of everything need, down to the smallest of touches. They also had great local meal recommendations. If you are traveling and need rooms with their own bathroom, and a shared sitting area and outdoor sitting area, but don’t need a kitchen, this place is perfect. There is a mini fridge if you need to store things, and the rooms come with tea/coffee setups. And there is really good food very nearby.
