Lovely pair of en-suite rooms in a pretty annex to the pub - perfect for a family group. We were travelling with an elderly lady with dementia and it felt safe and private. Very comfortable, clean rooms. Super comfy beds with crisp cotton bedding. Great supper in the pub with excellent food and ambience. The bathrooms were high quality.

We were really gutted that the bar and restaurant were closed for our visit. I wish that I looked a little more closely at their opening times because we could have easily adjusted our visit accordingly.

The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The shower was also really nice. There was plenty of tea and coffee in the room and lots of storage for clothes, there was also provision of a hairdryer. The room was cozy with adjustable temperature on the radiator and came with a complimentary breakfast because the pub was closed when we visited. There are bus stops outside the property which are useful, but I'd recommend that you physically look at the timetables at the stop because the ones online were incorrect.

Quite a lot of traffic noise.

A lovely building, plenty of parking, spacious and spotless room with a comfortable bed. Nice and warm, plenty of tea and coffee provided.

I had an excellent stay in this lovely guesthouse just a short bus ride from Bath. The room was spacious and clean with a good selection of teas/coffee, and the pub food was superb. A complimentary continental breakfast was provided on Tuesday morning which was a lovely gesture by the landlords. Would definitely visit again.

The Rose and Crown is quaint and full of tradition. We valued that we could accommodate our dog with us, the spacious room, gracious service, and a pub with excellent food where we could enjoy dinner without having to search elsewhere. We would love to return.

The bar meals were nothing special for the price and there was a lot of meals that were not available on the menu but guess it was due to them getting ready to close the following day, for their upcoming holiday, so understandable. there were cobwebs on the ceiling, above the bed and it took a while to get to sleep because of noise from the bar downstairs.

We came to the Rose and Crown for a relaxing break away for a few nights. The room was cosy and comfortable. The food in the bar was excellent! All team members were so friendly and helpful, even when they were clearly very busy that weekend. We immediately felt welcomed. The Rose and Crown is in a great location for exploring the Bath and Wiltshire area and there are also some lovely walks nearby.
