The Bathroom, needs to be modernized, it was highly ungratifying to see that such a quaint family run Hotel still preserves independent Hot & Cold water Taps, of which when you wash your hands you either Burn or Freeze yourself. Also there were no Tops/shelves to place a simple Travel Bag, had to place it on the floor. Electric Shower, was also inadequate with no water pressure, so it took us both longer to rinse the shampoo of us,...no water saving there...!!

I liked the location and the size of the bedroom, the bed was also quite comfortable. My wife and I do not eat cooked breakfast, so we had to eat the two days we stayed the same Cereal, juice, coffee and toast. There was no Croissants, Buns, Chopped Fruit...etc what is generally available for breakfast in other Hotels. I understand that the Breakfast was included in the price, but we would rather pay extra and have more of a selection, maybe that would explain why on both days we were the only persons at Breakfast. I would suggest to the Hotel Management to try to address this Breakfast issue and provide a wider range/choice of food.

Shower not very powerful/low water pressure and could do with a good squirt of anti mould in the corners. I didn't have a car so (lesson learnt) need to prebook any taxis.

In 103, one bed was comfortable but the other bed near the window felt like it had no springs!

It is out of the way but convenient for the out-of-the-way place that many people visit nearby. A short walk to two pubs and the local village. I tried the Gate, which had an excellent beer and seems to have good Indian food. Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. Room a good size and had what is needed. Some nice seats outside to catch the evening sun in summer. Great cooked breakfast.

Travelling on your own can be a little bit loney at times. All members of staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and food hot and tasty. I had no problems with the free wifi and was able to continue to work.

AS we arrived too late to eat, it would have been good to have had the option of a few bar snacks.
