Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomPossibly a 4 way electrical extension lead would be handy in the tent, but it’s a very minor point.
Facilities were fantastic for a glamping location and the hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely be retuning.

United Kingdomno negatives!! my only suggestions would be a bin in the communal kitchen and an extra row of LED lights for when reading/playing board games in bed, was a bit dark at night time :)
Clean, friendly, peaceful and quiet!! plus lots of local wildlife and farm animals which was lovely to look at.

United KingdomWould like a few more kitchen facilities such as a large bowl to use in the microwave, a few more plates and cutlery for serving but didn't matter too much.
Wonderful place to stay, the best parts of camping but without all the agro. It was clean and a beautiful space. Felt very cosy and homely. Would recommend to anyone, even my camping hating husband loved it! We stayed as a family with two young boys who enjoyed the experience and the farm was wonderful, they got to meet the sheep and horses. Stayed for 3 nights but wished we had booked 1-2 more nights.

United KingdomThere was nothing we didn’t like.
Great little spot in the Scottish Lowlands. Michael was really welcoming. Two tents in a private field with their own private bathrooms. We stayed in tent two, which had lovely views. Inside the style was a mix of Scottish meets Moroccan which really worked. Beds were very comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities, plates, bowls, cutlery all provided. There was a small heater in the room, but it wasn’t cold enough to use. TV and indoor lighting which you could change the colour of. Short walk to bathroom, really clean, nice shower and there is also a little kitchen with a fridge freezer, microwave and toaster. BBQ also available. Parking is free. VERY pretty of a night time, lots of fairy lights and if you are lucky (we was) a sky full of stars. There are also some very friendly sheep next door, who like a bit of fuss and a chat 😊

United KingdomNothing to dislike.
A peaceful rural location not too far off the beaten track and within easy reach of Edinburgh. The site had two bell tents both with their own bathroom, bbq and outdoor dining area. The tent was well equipped and both this and the kitchen area had everything you needed to make it an easy stay. Nice to have a little tour of the horses and the hosts were very friendly and helpful with our requests.

United KingdomThere's nothing not to like! If I had to put a suggestion down, would be more spaces to hang bath towels from. But it wasn't a big deal.
Beautiful, peaceful setting. The facilities were very good, and the hosts very welcoming. Meeting the horses was magical. Will definitely go back again.

United KingdomHonestly nothing.
Everything was amazing, starting from the host: Michael and Lynne are very friendly and welcoming people with smile. Michael was really nice with my us , especially my kids :), he took us in his own horse stable and introduced his horses to my kids and even my little daughter tried a little ride in a special pony that is quite and friendly with the kids. The facilities of the tent is perfect : comfortable bed with comfy sheet and double blanket in case of cold weather, there is also a perfect electric heater. The hospitality is also perfect: tea, sugar, milk ..etc. There is amazing bathroom with hot water running and amazing spacious shower and many clean towels. The kitchen has everything you need; big fridge, microwave…etc. The place is very clean and quite which I prefer and I believe this place one of the most amazing places that I have stayed in. a huge thanks to Michael and Lynne and their daughter for this special place that they make it available for people to stay in their holiday.
