Surpassed all our expectations. Place was so lovely and cosy. Very clean and really comfy beds. We had everything we needed even down to the huge umbrellas! Great location as the bus stop was just down the road. Would definitely recommend!

So much room for a family. The beds were amazing and comfortable. James was amazing and had so much information at the house for us. We ate at the local pub and tea room that were walking distance and they were great. It’s an easy commute into the city if you want to drive, take the bus, or get a taxi. Definitely recommend staying here.

We loved the whole design of this house. The furniture was tasteful and comfortable. We really liked the artwork on the walls and the wooden sculptures. James was so friendly and helpful. There were lots of extras provided- wine, sparkling water and lovely toiletries.

A fantastic place to stay. Everything we needed. Wonderful host. Bus stop out the front so we parked the motorbikes up in the secure compound and used the public transport, very cheap and convenient. Bed super comfortable as was the entire apartment.

James (the host) was AMAZING! Not only did he give us a complete & thorough tour of our accommodation, but he provided insight on all of the best things to do in the area, explained how to use the local public transport, and even offered to help us if we found ourselves in a bind during our trip to Edinburgh! If you have the opportunity to stay here, DO IT! Bonus: gated parking & access to building. We were on a mother/daughters trip and felt beyond safe here. Worth its weight in gold.

Everything was up and beyond expectations.

Really lovely place. The rooms were spacious, clean, modern and the beds very comfortable. James was an amazing host. We ended up arriving a few hours later than the normal check-in hours and James accommodated our arrival without any hassle. He went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. You will find everything you need here, from a Mac Pc to an umbrella for rainy Scotland. It was just a great experience. I highly recommend Roslyn Self Catering to anyone visiting Edinburgh. Wish we weren’t just passing through!

A superb holiday house with two floors in the grounds of a larger house. A spacious open plan lounge and dining room, and separate small kitchen and toilet on the ground floor. A large bedroom on the first floor with two double beds and a separate bathroom with shower. All beautifully decorated with excellent quality furnishings and fittings and everything we needed for our two night stay. Great wifi. A welcome pack of essentials and lots of information on the area were supplied. The host, James, greeted us and explained everything on arrival and was extremely friendly and helpful during our visit. Parking in front of the house and a private pedestrian gate. The location is convenient for the chapel and there's a nice local pub, plus a regular bus service to Edinburgh. It could not have been better for us.
