No fridge or air con, noisy and the room was tight for 5 people with luggage. For the cost, this was surprising.

Amazing location and comfortable beds and great shower. Continental breakfast was great. 11am check out was appreciated.

The room was too small for two adults. The towels and bed sheet look old.

It has a good location, a clean toilet, adequate lift facilities, and polite receptionists.

Great location, needs new mattresses and some light bulbs!

The shower height was not adjustable and it was set very high - the water that came out was in big dribbles, not a shower at all. The lights behind the beds were not working and the mattress on the double bed was in the type of state you would expect of one you had found dumped in the street after having hundreds of kids jumping on it. It was absolutely dreadful - indescribably so! The single mattresses were great though and as I was on my own I was perfectly comfortable.

The room was very spacious and had a choice of three beds, a beautiful big window that I could open fully (which was very welcome). It was clean and had loads of character, being an old building. The single bed I chose to sleep in was comfortable and there was plenty of toiletries, tea and coffee. The location of the hotel is perfect for the station and loads of restaurants, bakeries and shops.

We complaint and the staff was fast to change the room to a room that still did not like the nice rooms in the pictures on the web page, but it was on the ground floor.

We got a room in the basement that did not look like any of the rooms on the web page. This is the second time we got a room in the basement using booking.com - coincident?

Absence of daily bottle of water. Absence of electric socket by the bed. Absence of EU plug compatibility. Broken bathroom door in the room. Curtain not properly hooked on the railing leaving a gap in the middle and curtain not black out. The breakfast area is not up-to the level.

    The location was good.

From May 6-10, I and 10 other friends were hosted in this hotel. Due to the size of the breakfast hall and the number of waiters, it is a must to wait in line until the place is released. Especially for more than three guests, the queue time will be longer which is about 10-20 minutes waiting. The bedrooms are cramped. Sound is heard from one room to another. The food options offered for breakfast are not up-to- standard compared to the price. Apart from these remarks, the staff are exceptionally professional and hospitable. Using this opportunity, I would happily like to mention a young receptionist named by Waqas. He is as best as himself. Quick- minded, humble, helpful and informative. He is an expert in handling the customers with his well-nurtured language snd gentleness. His personal qualities are extra additives to scale up the value of Royal Eagle hotel. Last but certainly not least, my heartfelt admiration goes to the light brown skined young lady serving at the breakfast hall. She has been generious in her smiles and served the customers effectively. May God bless you all. With Love and respect//Tekle

The rooms were tiny and left a lot to be desired - wardrobe doors hanging off and toilet facilities v cramped and in need of a refurbishment. The TV was mounted on the wall and presented a hazard when trying to get around the bed to use the facilities.

Continental breakfast was good with the usual items you would expect to see. Dining area was very cramped and sensitive to timings. Location was v good, close to both underground, Elizabeth line and national rail services.

We did not stay at our chosen hotel (Royal Eagle) when we went to check in we were told that they did not have the room we booked. Got transferred to there sister hotel, not as good a location for me. They did not even pay for the taxi we needed to get to the other location. Not happy.

A single room was tiny with a bathromm which was almost impossible to wipe off water from a shower, and bending to brush teeth in the sink meant you hit the pointed shower doors. I mentioned that the room was going to be noisy as it was on the road side not the back. I was told it would be Ok, but I was woken at 5:30AM by traffic as the windows are not double glazed. Other wise the deco was modern, recent, and bed quite confortable

I gave up on breakfast, the restaurant room was full, queing lasted too long for me and the room downstairs was stuffy

Being sent to another Hotel that was under Construction both inside and out! Drilling from 9am in the morning. The Central Park Hotel. Corridors near the rooms are a shock when you see the old unfinished wood drilled to the actualy walls and dated carpet. I think its such a let down you book a weekend away and you are staying somewhere you did not pay for.

Location was ideal until we were told we couldnt stay in the Hotel we paid for. INSTEAD were sent to their sister Hotel 12 mins walk away with our suitcases in tow! Althought staff were very kind and apologetic i discovered it seemed to be a regular occurence when guests arrive and are sent on their way! Complimentary breakfast was the olive branch and late checkout. But should have been given the room we paid for at thrme location we paid for

There was only one plug that worked in both rooms, none in the bathroom. Beds were very uncomfortable and rooms dated. They placed us in the basement which was unexceptable and small for 3. The shower was nice but very slippery

Stephan the bar tender and coffee guy was so excellent and friendly. The gentlemen that got us in a room better suited for 3 people was very Professional

We paid extra money for the upgrade of our room which I didn't conform during our conversation here. If I insisted to be in the twin room, I would have upgraded it by myself when I saw the option in booking.com for less. When we passed through a room on our floor we heard sudden scream which scared us. We didn't have toilet brush in our bathroom.

The room has been cleaned every day. The beds were comfortable. We had beautiful view. The location of the hotel is amazing - 3-4 min walk to the underground and the train station. There were some supermarkets near the hotel. The area around is nice, clean and calm.
