Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

SpainBeing very picky as I like Black Pudding but here it was cooked too long or has been in the serving place too long and was very dry and uneatable.
This is my second visit to the hotel in May. The hotel is situated well for all the Portsmouth attractions. The hotel has a great deal of Navel memorabilia and books. I think it has a lovely character. The room was adequate and clean and the price was good for my stays. The breakfast was fine with a good and varied choice of food. The staff are lovely and friendly. I would return to the hotel if I ever visited this area again.

The location was good as we were going to the Naval Museum to see the Mary Rose. It was also close to the restaurants and cafes. Check-in was quick and easy, staff were polite and welcoming. We were given a voucher toward the parking at the multi-storey car park that was opposite the hotel. The room was clean and a decent size. Breakfast (included) was self-service and all hot items were continually replenished.

Clean, comfortable, and quiet room. Extremely helpful staff and an excellent breakfast. Located a 5 minute walk from Portsmouth Naval Yard and has many dining options nearby. Parking is available.

Excellent breakfast included in the price. Evening meal was reasonably priced . Bar drinks were discounted as we were staying at the hotel. Everyone was very friendly. Swimming pool was a delightful surprise.
