Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

LatviaReception made small mistake and got us the standart room - it had some interesting smell. After we got our deluxe room - no issues with the smell. I would recommend to pay extra for the deluxe as atleast it is slightly refreshed.
Location is great. Close to Euston station and Big bus tours. Breakfast was good and would recommend to pay extra for it, but is quite crowded as the hotel is large. Stuff is very friendly and profesional.

One night stay for a half-marathon in London. Nothing to fault. Friendly and helpful receptionist. It was great that we could leave our luggage in the storage room free of charge and collect it after my race. About 20-25 minutes walk from St Pancreas station.

IrelandThe pillows are too soft. Only 2 sachets of coffee, sugar and tea. I don’t drink tea and like more than 1 coffee so this wasn’t great. There’s no sockets next to the bed. That’s so rare now and is much needed. Only changed 1 towel and cleaned nothing or made our beds. Cleaner came at 9.15 on the morning of our checkout when checkout was 11. Surely it was on her itinerary and who wants cleaners in the rooms that early anyway??

Excellent location near Euston, toilet/shower room recently modernised - great shower. Room was quiet, but this could have been the location near the end of the corridor. Wifi was reliable (important) and bed very comfy.

SlovakiaWhen we have arrived to the hotel, we went to check in and the receptionist was a bit rude. I was very tired because of the long travel and English is not my first language, so I didn't get something. I have asked about it again to clarify and she just replied: "I have just explained you" and she didn't clarify it. She could have just asked what part I didn't get etc. The couch in the room was not very comfortable,so the third person who was with us, didn't have the best sleep. We thought, we would get 3 separate beds.

IrelandWe had three rooms with 4 in each. We had to wait an hour after check in for the first and two hours after for the second. Not ideal when you have a group that want to get ready to go out for the evening. Not ideal but what can you do. Street very noisy at night.
Huge hotel everyone here is working very hard to cope with the sheer volume of people in and out each day. Good breakfast even though the canteen is very busy.
